Sonos 1 & 2

Disappointed that my Sonos 1 speaker’s do not link to my Sonos 2 app or 2 speakers.

Plans for Apple Watch link

I like the app as it combines playlists and music from different services like Spotify and Amazon Music. I do find the connection a little clunky from time to time. Like a song will start, but you won’t hear the first handful of seconds and then it jumps in. I assume there is some data lag issue because it does not happen if I play songs directly from the Spotify app for instance. I would really really like an Apple Watch app so I can control it from there. I use this feature all the time on the Spotify Apple Watch app and it is very useful and convenient. It’s a big hole in the product software.

Navigation problems

Music is always great. However, I just cannot believe the difficulties I’ve had trying to stream radio. First the list of stations is neither alphabetical nor numerical. So, 98.1 Poughkeepsie might be listed just before, or after, 107.9 Terre Haute, which might be just before 102.1 the Eagle somewhere. I subscribe to SiriusXM, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how to stream it. I finally found SiriusXM, but no function close to “play.” Tried to get help online. They had me hold a good while, then gave me a number to call. For those of us non-techies those calls are nightmares because I don’t speak the language and thus cannot explain the problem. I wish it was possible to go to my SONOS app and hit a button to stream any station whose name I wrote in a box. If such is possible I have not discovered the key.I just want ease of use and I ain’t getting it. Further, my playlists almost NEVER come up on the first try. After a couple reboots it might appear with a note advising me my system is not connected to WiFi when it is. Again, I just ask for ease of use. Now in order to “send” this rating I am required to enter a freaking nickname. Of course, the first five I tried were already taken.

Sonos is a game changer

I have put the Sonos system in two homes and love it. Operating the system from the app is so easy. My husband and I are both in our 60s and while we are not completely technically challenged, we are not tech savvy like the younger generation. We can navigate the Sonos app easily. The app allows us operate and adjust almost 20 speakers independently. Both the app and the system earn an A++ from me.

Love it

Great product. Awesome sounds Love that it doesn’t look like a speaker Thanks Sonos Keep up the great work

The Worst

Ex-Post Thoughts

Awful. If you are thinking about adding an external speaker to your flat screen, do yourself a favor and do not get a Sonos. 1. Horrible eco system 2. constant software update (which will disable your speaker if not done) 3. terrible to stream music with other apps, and 4. not even a simple Bluetooth connection to play audio.

Great service, slow updates

I love my Sonos system for its ease and sound quality. And the app as well designed for the most part,But it literally goes years without any new feature additions it seems. No support for iOS widgets, which would be very helpful for controlling the system quickly. Still no support for Spotify podcasts. It just feels a perpetually stagnant. Not enough iteration.

Cant connect

brandon711711

This stuff used to work but the update seems to screw it up for some reason. The thing just cant connect so my roam is just trash now. Even better that if i cant set up the roam i cant even use bluetooth mode. Diabolical

App got set up but now not working

Docwayno

Initially seemed good. But now can not find my new Beam sound bar. I reset app, nope, uninstalled and reinstalled, nope. Still can not find my device.

Too busy

Very confusing to see/access playlists. Needs simplification.
