What is the point of a “modern” and “innovative” speaker system if it doesn’t work? I’ve been trying to connect my phone to my speaker for several days and no luck.I’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by the over complication of this device. That seems to never work properly.

Really poor quality. The speakers often loose connection despite trying their bridge, ethernet and other wifi routers.


Router issues

I’m changing ISP’s. My current provider, and new provider have built in routers. To avoid transferring down the road (again) I decided to buy a new router and just do it all once. I’ve moved my entire smart home to the new router. The ONLY devices I had trouble with are the Sonos speakers. I’ve got most of them moved, but can’t get two satellites added. Support is non existent. Great system until you have to update/change wifi.


A competent enough app, though with some minor irks…

Searching can be a bit of a chore and the For You part, if you’re an Apple Music subscriber, in the past was useful but now only shows me playlists and only the occasional album. Apart from that, a functional and well-designed tool to control my music library.


Far worse post App upgrade

I have a Gen2 play5 that disconnects every time i leave the app. When starting a new, i have to go through the connect sequence and power cycle the speaker. Is it possible to downgrade to the old app which worked well?

We are constantly having trouble with our Sonos disconnecting from the system. Then I will reboot my phone and about 80% of the time it will reconnect. But last night, for instance, all of the sudden it just would not connect when I wanted to adjust the sound for a particular show. I tried rebooting my phone twice and it’s like it doesn’t even recognize my phone anymore. And then it goes through the steps of trying to “fix it” which never, never works. It is very frustrating because the sound can be so good, but it is so difficult to use the system.

This app needs to be updated there’s numerous times I have to delete and download it again because it’s not connected to the server it’s taking a long time to load my playlist
