When it works, it is great. But I have a terrible time turning it on. I have to update the settings every time and usually end up rebooting my router. It’s takes 30 minutes to an hour if I don’t give up first.

I have 2 speakers that require the old app and I don’t know if that interferes but this won’t connect the majority of the time and I have to manually change the volume. When it works it’s fine but needs to work all the time

At least once a week the sonos system (play1, play 5, Move) drops the Wi-Fi connection even though the rest of devices on network are still connected. Sonos’ solution to this is the “reset the Wi-Fi”. Doing this weekly is disappointing given the cost of this system.

This app has so much potential. Do better. The UI needs a refresh & the delay between opening apps needs to be so much better. As of now it’s day by day with this app and my Sonos Play 3. Some days the app lets me listen to music & some days the app doesn’t work with any apps connected (Pandora, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Sonos Radio). A power cycle of my device never fixes it.

The speakers sound great but getting them to work is hit and miss. The Play 3 or sub randomly drops from the system or suddenly becomes "not configured". I have powered down the speakers more than any other electronic items in my house. Just make the stupid things WORK!

Great when it works, but I have to reconfigure the System after about every hour of use.

There’s always a 50/50 chance there’s gonna be some issue with this app

You can only play music through the Sonos Play 1 app. You are limited to selections that come from various music apps. If you want to use it to stream audio from YouTube or Audible or any source not partnered with Sonos…you’re outta luck. Would be much better if you could use the speaker to listen to whatever you want to listen to.
