How much fun! Easy to operate- tremendous flexibility with speakers in different rooms. Can control volume, which rooms you want music, select different music for every room and total volume control for each speaker. Does not interfere with your normal cell phone operation. Truly amazing!!!

Great equipment

Sonos products are very nice and simple to install. For those who don’t have space but love music I suggest buying a play 1 to start. Once feel comfortable move up with products. Good luck and really try a play one first……if you like it move up to what ever product you like.

Love the app but needs a widget!

PLEASE ADD WIDGETS! It'd be really helpful for people to just have a widget in order to switch songs, play/pause, or even adjust the volume rather than having to go back into the app every time. Otherwise, the app is great!

Slow

Bluerivercrossing

If you skip a song or go back to the beginning, the whole system is very slow to make all of the speakers sound at the same time.

Stops Playing

Colorado Moon

My experience with my Sonos system has degraded substantially in the past 2 months. It used to work (nearly) flawlessly, but now it consistently takes forever to start playing, exhibits serious lag in start up between different speakers and, at current, just stops playing. I have 7 ones, 2 fives, a beam, an arc, a sub and a move. I’ve tried different stations, I’ve compressed the audio… I’ve not added anything new to my home network. I don’t know what has changed, but its not working. My internet speed is 100Mbps and I rebooted my router and restarted my network a number of times. When it works, its amazing. Right now, I don’t know what to do but I hope it gets sorted quickly.

They require an account to setup the speakers. They also require access to your location and your phones microphone which means they can listen to you.

Annoying to Use

Nclecmmngs

I find this app annoying to use. I just want to open the app and see my content but instead I have to click through several screens to get to media I’ve been recently listening to. The interface is cluttered. It does not work well with apple play. When I add just volume for one speaker it sometimes changes other speakers. It does not always save “last played” location accurately.

BBC radio stations

Listen BBC radio 6 everyday for it’s eclectic mix and now there are no bbc options. Yikes!
