Works great. Easy to install but landscape video don't work on 12" iPad Pro. I would like the app to provide a on/off schedule so I don’t have to remember to do it.

let me start with I really like the system it’s self. BUT the app never works right. 99% of the time will not connect.

Useless Apple Watch app

What is the purpose of a watch app that you have to have the app open on the phone. even more important the Apple Watch 3 lte can’t work independently from the phone

This is the very first review I have written for an app. I think Simplisafe is one of the best systems available the app has had some issues in the past but seems to work great now. When I saw the update was a watch app, I updated immediately and tested it out It works great!

Apple Watch app addition

I was glad to see the update with an addition of the ability to access the app from my Apple Watch. When I open the Watch app, I get a message that says “Launch and log into the SimpliSafe app on your phone.” I’ve logged out and logged back in and restarted my watch, but I guess this IS the app—instruction to use your app on your phone. Seriously?!?

Great work on this app. It works so well. Very convenient and it looks good. I use it multiple times per day. Good stuff.

App that meets expectations

This app, for my personal taste, does what I expect to do with it. It is the preferred method of how I view my cameras, has the overview, allows me to arm, disarm, and gives me notifications. Each update seems to eliminate more bugs. Now, it even works with Apple Watch. All in all, this app meets my expectations.

I’d like to start off saying I have been a diehard Simplisafe fan for years, even got 4 or 5 friends to purchase the system. But with every recent app update, my system/app are getting less and less reliable. If I start to doubt whether my system is working then what’s the point in having it? The app just flat out does not sync with the system anymore. I’ve reset everything multiple times and still no luck. It’s very disappointing because everything used to work flawlessly and now it just keeps getting worse. I hate to say I may have to find a new system soon. I have to trust my security system. No margin for error there.

iPhone X issue fixed

My iPhone 6s went through the washer and no longer works. Upgraded to an iPhone X and the app didn’t work anymore after restoring from iCloud. I deleted the app and reinstalled and all is good now! YEAH! I Absolutely Love the Apple Watch app add on!

Disappointed - security and safety concerns

I am rating this app as one star because it is my belief that an app that concerns security and safety should be reliable. This app is not. I can live with the app being slow to effect a change to my alarm (this one is) when I want to arm my security but I am not accepting of an app that only effects a change once in a while and provides misleading information as to a change in the alarm status messages. This potentially has serious consequences. I have been working with a Simplisafe technician for a week now and the app still does not work reliably with my alarm even in good cell and wifi signal areas.
