Worst app I’ve ever experienced

Joe@@@4123

You need a option to hide restaurants you don’t want to order from any more. They don’t have that. They need to filter out/delete restaurants that post under multiple names They don’t do that. The search function is basically useless. Sorting under fastest, then you end up waiting for over an hour for something listed as a 15 minute wait time. The restaurants need to be penalized for that somehow. They shouldn’t list restaurants in completely different boroughs. Might as well be in another state. If I order at a place one time, it is NOT my ‘go to’ place. There are so many issues with this app. Just annoying.

Sofies in downtown Manhattan

Highly recommend sofies restaurant. Excellent food !!!!

Too many fees

AlexBobJ

Overall, the app is great. However, there are too many fees, which makes it overall too expensive. As an example, I ordered $26.77 in food and had $2.99 delivery fee, then a $4.02 service fee, before tax and tip for the driver were included. If I gave the driver a 15% tip of $5.57, I would have paid $15.96 to get $26.77 in food. For the record, that’s 59.62% in taxes, tip, and fees! Too much!

Good app could be great

App works (although I would like to see a guarantee that “tips” are actually going to the delivery person). Some fixes it could use: why is there a general search box, instead of dedicated boxes for location and restaurants/cuisine? The app recognizes that I am not at my usual order location— but inexplicably adds the new location entered “near” the original location. (So when I am at home it searches for my work address as if it were a restaurant in the vicinity of my work address). The app should also allow one tap to choose between a favorite restaurant or reorder at that restaurant. Defaulting to a reorder is not always preferred. Last, all restaurant menus should all be entered by menu headings first (popular, appetizers, drinks, sides, etc) even when there are pictures there, and default to that after an item is placed in the bag. You shouldn’t have to scroll endlessly through a menu for each item.

Fun App

It is very easy to use, easy to order and te-order. I highly recommend it.

Literally doesn’t work, worst customer service.

I used to use this app in college. In the last year, I haven’t been able to use it at all. Every time I order, it gets canceled immediately. I’ve put in different payment methods, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, used various web browsers, and contacting customer service hasn’t rectified anything. I’ve even made new accounts under my various emails. I’ve called twice, used the chat 3 times, and have heard the same answer- ‘your account is locked, we’ve sent this to a manager and you’ll hear back in 24-48 hours.’ The first time I contacted seamless was 5 days ago and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I also called Sunday, heard the same thing, and still nothing. When I called today, I expressed my issue and that I had heard the same thing about hearing back, and that I wanted to speak to someone who could actually rectify this situation. She was unable to help me. Lovely woman, just a terrible company with terrible support systems for customers. I had reconciled myself to the fact that I wasn’t going to use this or GrubHub ever again, but I have a gift card that I got from work and need to use it, as times are tough!

Who doesn’t like Seamless? I do!!

Search is now a mess

Luisf765

Can’t search by cuisine. Simple searches like steak sandwich don’t work.

Removed sharing menus and favoriting restaurants

Amlin257

I’ve used Seamless for almost 7 years and this past year they took away favoriting your preferred restaurants as well as sharing. This was annoying because they are forcing you to view new restaurants rather than letting you create a list of places you’d want to try later. Not being able to share a restaurant is incredibly annoying because I can’t send the restaurant menu to a friend I’m dining with. Instead I have to hand them my phone or have them search for the place. It just takes up time and appears to be an assumption that you’re dining alone. Why would Seamless take away these two key functions of the app?!
