Love Seamless for the variety, but the more I order from the same place, the more I order straight from the restaurant and am saving a bundle.

Great food … everything always good … great polite servers, real homey Italian atmosphere. Love to eat in restaurant, always feels like a treat and hard to find all of that and good prices, too. I only gave 4 stars because never used seemless before. Hard to give a good tip when they are getting more for the food. I’d like to have same prices as eating and then have these delivery services charge for the service. Seem more fair and order from the one that provides best service even if they charge a little more than some of the others!

The older interface was so much better. This layout is more misleading with delivery fee and just not as easy to navigate.

This is my first review but seamless has embarrassed itself and capitalism at large. They used to have incredible customer service and took ownership and responsibility of any errors as you can see from other reviews— but they have completely foregone that. Now they blame restaurants, customers, or anything else to avoid losing $0.01. They go so far as to simply change the order time at the point when you reach out for help. The leaders of this company are failures.

They canceled my order after it’s been placed two hours prior. They refunded my money but did not offer anything else. I explained that just covering the money for some thing that I didn’t receive is not acceptable.They offered a measly 20% off my next order, where, I thought they should’ve covered my entire order since I can no longer order from the place I had originally ordered from because they were closed since they took so long to cancel the order. UNACCEPTABLE.

The last few years this app and the subsequent service have been abysmal. First, their fees have increased in recent years, huge delivery fees, service fees all to try and steer you to their Seamless+ paid service. Second, 60% of our orders have issues either delivered beyond late, restaurants forge that deliveries were made when they haven’t been, orders don’t get fulfilled due to “system issues”, delivery drivers forget items, deliver drivers leave food outside even when the option for “contactless” is turned off, delivery drivers harass you with phone calls even though the delivery notes clearly state to deliver it to the door and ring up. Its constant and we constantly have to deal with customer service who gives false promises to escalate and give a measly $10 voucher that barely covers all of their fees and has a couple of day expiration. Not to mention these vouchers can’t be stacked with handful of other vouchers you receive from them for all of the issues you encounter. All in all I think it’s time to either start making orders direct to the restaurant (as it is always cheaper without seamless fees), or look for another company that can do this service. Overall, would not recommend.
