Do not understand how I made this mistake, but this control is strictly Bluetooth - unless you buy the additional wifi plug adapter for $50 or more. Most everything you read says it is compatible with Samsung smarthings hub, but I wasted so much time trying to pair this. Finally downloaded the Schlage app & used bluetooth. Works fine but also wanted smarthings.

Great lock but...

It needs a better interface. A modern intuitive interface that is well built. With that said an I watch app and Siri integration for my encode lock. HomeKit integration would be great too. If I could link with my Adt alarm it would be a slam dunk.

Instructions were t detailed on how to install on a lerifhtni swing. Door. The lock works well. Would have had 5 stars if there was more detailed instructions and came with wifi adapter

I run an Airbnb, and I can’t say enough about how this lock has added to my guests’ experience AND mine!! I can input the codes my guests want from my iPhone as well as schedule when their code will work. It also notifies me when the batteries are low. I am so pleased. So pleased.

Worked at getting the hub connected to my WiFi for quite a while Finally got it to connect after defaulting the hub Then I couldn’t get the lock recognized by the hub even though it was available before I got the hub connected Removed the battery pack from the lock reinstalled the battery pack and then the lock appeared Now I don’t see the lock when on the local WiFi but it works when connected by LTE connection

We purchased a new front door and the seller offered this lock with as an add on with the hardware. I already had a Schlage Connect (which connects nicely with my Wink hub) lock on the door but decided I could move it to the back door. Great plan until the new door was installed with the Schlage Sense. Now I have buy a Schlage WiFi adapter for 80 bucks so, maybe I can use it with Alexa and so maybe I can get alerts when the lock is unlocked or so I can lock or unlock it when I am not home. Plus, I had to install another frikken app on my iPhone. I have to wait and wait and wait for the app to connect just to use it at home. Very frustrating that it is not compatible with your other locks.

Installed yesterday, fairly easy to install. My only request would be to have fingerprint access to the app.... if my phone were taken... they can open app and use..... There is no pass code or finger print needed to look at all the codes I have set up for myself or my family...... this seems somewhat concerning to me! Otherwise nice app very ready to use. Able to lock and check door status with my google home integration!!!!

We love our Schlage lock! It is attractive, reliable and sturdy! The app is clear and simple. The only improvement I would like to see: We share our lock with a few people so if the door is unlocked unexpectedly, I would like to be able to see which person unlocked it. What code was used? This feature is available on my parents’ Nest app.

Very disappointed after a good start. Lock initially worked well but I installed a new WiFi network which the adapter will not connect to when going through the proper change steps. It keeps telling me my phone is on a different network, which after verifying, it is not. Furthermore, I replaced the batteries in the deadbolt and now the majority of the codes don’t work and I have no way to access them.
