Lock seems to work as described. Very difficult to pair with the app on the iPhone. Ultimately followed the instructions on the app and reset the lock. It paired straight a way. Lock operates with the HomePod. Siri can lock/unlock with a simple request...
Very confusing instructions

The instruction of the WiFi lock are not clear. The lock allegedly can connect to your WiFi directly however it doesn’t and no smart home app (Google hone or Alexa) seems to be able to recognize this lock without having a hub. Installations was very quick and simple but connectivity leaves a lot to be desired

Lock maybe good but the app and software is so bad and unreliable. Waste of money. I am going to try Nest instead
Slow and unresponsive.

The app lately has become slow and unresponsive when trying to navigate the menu. Also, it has been showing my door as unlocked, when in fact it is locked. The WiFi and Bluetooth range has gotten terrible, I have to be right at my door for it to work. I hope this works s fixed in the next update.
Best lock ever
Totally duped!
I was introduced to this locking system on my trip while staying at an Airbnb, and I immediately decided this is what I wanted for my own Airbnb place. It is easy to install and super simple to use with the app. I love that I can assign temporary codes and that I am notified anytime they are used. I can even even lock/unlock remotely. Very happy!!

Give out time-sensitive unlock codes for guests, give each of your children a different code and each entry is logged and texted to you. If someone forgets their code, you can open the door remotely via a one-button click on your phone. You can even ask Alexa to open or lock your door and she’s on it. I have never installed a door lock, but upgraded my lock to this amazing safety lock in about 12 minutes, with only a Phillips screwdriver. Make sure you press the two plastic wire ends together firmly - that was my only mistake. Great instructions provided! Get one!

Schlage’s development team has not kept up to support their automated locks with the periodic iOS version releases. This has proven to be a major inconvenience as well as a monetary loss for consumers who have purchased the product with the expectation that performance is sustained as promised.

App takes forever to “find lock” which makes unlocking from app upon arrival useless. It is quicker to just use keypad. Once found however app works well. Had no issues pairing with lock on installation.
