App doesn’t appear to send notifications when low battery level, which would be a nice feature instead of finding out too late.
Great Quality, Easy Install
The Encoders
Great quality, seamless integration, easy installation. App was intuitive and I was completely up and running in 30 minutes - which included boring my solid core door for the new Schlage Encode!
Good app, but slow performance

For the most part I like this app. But several times when I need to unlock my door the app took a few minutes to communicate to my lock to unlock my door. Or the other problem is that the lock status is incorrect even if you refresh several times. I think the app needs improvement. It does work

LOVE my Schlage keyless lock. Nice to go out and not have to dig for my key in my purse! One less thing to carry! And to give my buds access with their own personal code a big plus!! Thank you. If only the numbers all lit up with a touch so I can see them at night before I key in a wrong code....that would be perfection!
App no longer sees my lock

My Schlage Home App can no longer find my Encode Smart WiFi lock. After 3 months of use, the app stopped recognizing my lock so I can no longer manage it via the app. Interestingly, I still get push notifications when the entry codes are used. When it worked, the app was good. How do I get the app to recognize my lock again?

So today the lock started working. Don’t know why. Let’s see if it can work for more than a week (which will be 5 weeks out of 156 weeks! Well I’ll keep this up. V1 of lock was trash. To their credit Schlage sent me V2 for free For 3 years lock has worked properly about 27 days. Newer locks (V3 or V4?) have no issues; wish Schlage would replace ALL older defective locks. FIX found 1. Call Schlage, tell them what they already know. That these things are junk. They won't argue with you. Demand a refund... even if it has been 14 months since you bought them. 2. Email them your receipts and serial numbers. 3. Get your refund check. 4. Throw Schlage locks in trash where they belong. 5. Go buy the new Premis Locks from Kwikset - they work: half the footprint in size, way quieter, app is a zillion times more advanced. The End.
