I was hoping that I could program directly to my WIFI. I can’t get it to work that way. I have a VRBO home that I want to be able to program a code an send it to the next guest from anywhere as a text or email.

App used to work just fine. Recent update on iPhone the app just says please wait while we find your locks. App never goes beyond this screen. Manufacturer clearly knows about this problem and has not fixed it

Amazing easy to use and very fast response time on the app!!!!!!! Have tried so many WiFi enabled devices and this by far is the fastest and most reliable yet. I installed three in at my parents home and I know they will not have any issues with forgetting to lock their doors. Thank you so much and we will be using Schlage WiFi Encode in every home. We have been using Schlage products for a very long time in our Steel Fabrication company But this is the first time we use the Technology and WiFi products. Everything seems functionally sufficient so far. But at least the first time through the interface seems a bit unclear. Probably the simplest change would be making the very large lock/unlock indicator a bit smaller, so that the other functions can be more clearly expressed.
Firmware update failure continues Stuck on v 3.49

Installed approximately nine months ago and have had a constant nag to upgrade firmware however each attempt with iPhone and iPad has resulted with the same message that the firmware did not update please try again later or words to that effect. Very happy with the lock very disappointed with Schlage app. Update: lock is stuck on firmware version 3.49 and version 4.31 is available today. I have done everything including resetting device to factory settings etc. Still no firmware update. Can no longer restrict access time. Any restriction causes access failure for that code user. Have reloaded app several times because of bugs. :(

Being able to control my locks& door from my phone is what I call,” complete control”!!! It is the best thing since fresh bread,& I recommend it in every way to every human in existence!!!!!

This lock gives instantaneous feedback directly to your phone sending a notification every time it is locked or unlocked! I’m definitely going to be replacing all my deadbolt locks with this lock!

The app is a joke. Very seldom works. The app setup too an hour and is flaky. Once you connect w WiFi it appears you can’t use the keypad any longer. Ridiculous.
