Installation difficulty

Installation with WiFi is not working. Setup is too complicated even for technician. Support in Schlage Bangkok office is very poor. I do not recommend this product.

Using the Apple HomeKit with Apple TV and HomePod with 3 different Schlage Sense locks has great advantages for my home and my business, but sometimes it just won’t connect remotely when I’m trying to create an access code for a visitor or tradesperson. I don’t know if the issue is the app or the locks’ firmware, but Schlage should hurry up and fix it.

I have two Schlage door locks. When I go to setting for front door, app crashes. If I go to setting in second door, I can adjust setting. I’m trying to disable first door alarm which must have high sensitivity setting, however I can’t because app crashes. I call Schlage and they stated it’s the first time they heard of this and brought to higher level engineers to figure out. It’s been over a week now and door alarm is getting annoying. I have my first lock which has the problem for about 3-4 years now and second door lock for about 1 1/2 years. Never had a problem before and both locks still works well with Apple homekit.

It’s hit or miss if you can lock or unlock while away. The WiFi adapter is flakey at best. Fix it please

If you want to control your lock remotely. You would not believe the Jerry rigging their tech team had me perform in order to get their own WiFi adapter to work with their own lock.

This app doesn’t work. It won’t connect with my WiFi - and I have good WiFi. So, I can do some things with it but not a whole bunch. After a long time troubleshooting on the phone with a tech guy, he sent me a replacement, thinking I might have “a lemon.” I tried the replacement in another room with another smartphone. No luck. Now I’m stuck with a $250 smartlock that doesn’t do half of what it’s supposed to, I wasted hours, and I don’t want to pay a handyman to take it out and install something else. I am beyond disappointed in Schlage. Trash!

Great app but ever since I upgraded my iPhone from a 7 to an X, I am not getting notifications when my lock opens or closes.
