Super easy to use!! These letters are getting there in days & usps is taking about 2 weeks right now! Also love getting the red, blue & white envelopes in the mail. Definitely worth getting this app!

I did everything right to send letters and got several returned letters 2 months after my soldier got out. In total they got 5 letters from this service when I sent 20 at least. Would not recommend.

Wrote 1st note to recruit using Sandbox on a Tue and here on Friday it’s still just been “printed”, so the whole “gets there quicker than snail mail experience just isn’t an experience I’ve had. Got a message saying due to holiday, there might be delays, so that part of the experience gets 5 out of 5. Just not what you expect for $3.50+ per letter. You’d guess a service pitching ease & technology & charging $2.90 premium over a stamp would be able to figure out a way to seize a differentiator from USPS. Too bad. Update: READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS. If they can’t get a letter to your recruit due to Base Operations - no different than any other vendor - then they will point you to their T&Cs, say “Sorry you’re not happy with the experience, but no refund.” Sticking with USPS since there’s really no differentiation when it comes right down to it...and it’s much cheaper.

Sandboxx is expensive!!! You’re supposed to be paying so much because your letter ships overnight but I sent two letters a week ago and they’re still processing!!! Would’ve been cheaper and faster just to send regular mail!!!

I absolutely love the Sanboxx app!!! It certainly has been a God send with keeping me in touch with my Marine. It’s so easy to use and hassle free. And I love being able to track the letter until it is delivered. Thank you Sandboxx❤️

Makes Writing Letters Easy

Sandboxx makes writing letters to my recruit as easy as writing an email. It works great. Just know that it costs a lot more to send a letter via Sanboxx than just sticking a stamp on an envelope. That’s in large part because every Sandboxx letter is sent overnight with return stationary (but not return postage). It’s worth the cost on my opinion. I have a couple of suggestions: the store isn’t contained in the app and takes you to a web page, it would be better if I didn’t have to leave the app. That may be due to Apple’s strict rules but if not ot would be a great change. For example, you can send cards (birthday, etc) but not in the app you have to go to the inline store to do that and all of my saved information doesn’t show up there. Also, I subscribe to the monthly family plan which gives you the ability to “share” letter tokens - again, can’t do this on the app. I have to send an email to support and ask them to transfer tokens to a specific Sandboxx user. As great as support has been in doing it, this function should be in the app. Bottom line though, is that this is a good app and great service that only needs some minor tweaks to be great.
