Letters seem to take a lot of time. My first letter took 3 days to process and deliver and my son still has not got it. The send one says delivered today yet he has not received it.

Excellent resource, letters get there and a quarter of the time, and you can even send pictures.
It’s not as fast as a text but it is much better than traditional letters!

Going from being able to text or call your recruit to going at least a week, if not two, without hearing from them is really hard. Traditional handwritten letters are super meaningful, but with SandBoxx I can type and send a letter whenever I want, wherever I want, and as often as I want. All my letters have taken 2-3 days to get to my recruit. One of my favorite features is they track the recruit’s return letters. Sometimes just seeing I have a letter on the way can help get me through a difficult day. I very much enjoy the app!

Sandboxx is Amazing all The updates on the trainees helps the family ( this Mom) with the time they are at basic.

Love that I can send letters. Love that my son receives them quickly. Don’t love that I can’t edit the letter easily. It’s quite ridiculous actually. This app needs ALOT of work on the photo side. First getting out of the area where you attach photos is a nightmare and trying to select the photo and just go back to the letter is insanely difficult. And I should be able to send more than one, just saying, you charge a lot for this app for how limited it is. Needs a ton of work on the adding of text within the body of the letter as well as on the photo side. Extremely disappointed in this and I know it won’t be addressed because it’s the only way to communicate with the service members quickly so whatever. I will definitely NOT recommend to anyone though unless these areas are changed and my boy will probably be done before that ever happens. Just keeping it real. Whatever.

If i would have known my soldier in training was being charged for every letter sent out I wouldn’t have sent any on the site…why charge them when we’re already paying. Other than that its straight but i have about 2 letters that still showing processing from WEEKS ago sooo I’ll probably just stick to regular mailings .

It’s super helpful, but 2 things to consider in possible update. 1. A pkg that includes tokens and response postage in one. These pkgs of tokens alone are super expensive and on top we have to pay another $2 for return postage… and 2. When shopping for anything, instead of making us type the whole address to our recruit, if u offer a link to write letters, why not be able to use that same link to send gifts and supplies off the app as well?! Other then that it’s very good.

I tried sandbox for the first time 10 days ago. 1 day later We sent mail USPS then another 2 days later. Both USPS MAILINGS where received as of yesterday the notification from sand box was still in process. At 6.00$ versus a common stamp not really sure this is a good way. Buy the way the final delivery was being made via UPS. I don’t trust this app.
