I tried to send a gift card to my daughter and where it stated branch no matter what you answered it stated Air Force?????? Not a good look for a Marine. So I canceled it. I also had my bank call me to ensure that I had made a purchase on this app. We all know there is only one reason why USAA would wish to confirm immediately.......... it denotes a history of previous fraud. Makes me feel like app is kind of sketchy. Not a good look for a Marine.

This app is absolutely wonderful and so so helpful with keeping in touch with my loved one.
Letters not delivered

The tracking states that three of my letters arrived the same day. I had the correct name and address; however my son only received the very last letter that I sent him. This serves is way too expensive for there to be any delays or missing letters. I’ll finish using the tokens that I have left, but I will not be buying anymore. Such a shame that your company had the opportunity to do what’s right for our service persons and their family, but failed to do so.

My boyfriend went into the airforce and i wrote him about 16 letter and he only got around 10 of those letters. After he graduated he informed me that he hadn’t received any letters from me for almost 2 weeks and I’m not sure if this is sandboxx’s error but i was under the impression that my letters would be arriving next day and that was falsely advertised. I honestly wish i would have saved my money and hand wrote my own letters. Very disappointing experience!

I wrote a letter to my son In Bootcamp and it took a week to get there. Then I discovered this app. The letter only took about 2 days. I think it got there before the hand written letter I wrote the week before via snail mail. For a worrisome mom this is totally worth the price of less than $4 to send a letter. Plus I sent the link to his girlfriend and I was surprised it notified me a few days later that she sent him a letter. Things didn’t work out for him in the Navy so he just came home so I will be deleting the app but it sure was handy to have rather than sitting by the phone for 2 weeks waiting for that short phone call from him. Parents...Use the App. It’s worth it!
All around disappointment

I had multiple letters take much longer than next day delivery, when sent during the Mon-Thurs window, when no federal holidays were occurring. I received multiple letters, and while extremely grateful I got them, no notification or anything was given to me. I sent several letters in a row, and then without notification the app charged me for a bundle of their “tokens” when I didn’t ask for that plan. Then they deleted my account, and will not let me log in, saying my email address is invalid, when I literally have all the emails from them sent to that address. The only reason they are not 1 star is that is reserved for USPS. I begrudgingly use this service because USPS is just so bad.
