Good and annoying, all at the same time.

This app is lovely when it comes to tracking mail sent and received, but it takes just as long to receive the mail on both ends, as a hand written letter (hand written is cheaper). Other reviews say it’s next day mail, but that isn’t the case. I’m assuming it’s because of Covid, things are a bit different and I get that. But $4 for one letter that takes the exact same amount of time as a hand written one isn’t ideal for me. It is super nice to be able to track each letter and know when they’ll be received by both parties but that $4 definitely adds up when you’re sending multiple letters and to me it just isn’t entirely worth it when it’s still taking the same amount of time as hand written letters.

I sent a letter to my best friend in the beginning of November. It says he received the letter mid November. I also paid for him to be able to reply. The app said he did reply and the letter was one it’s way. (Mid November) It now the beginning of December and the app is saying the letter was delivered but it was not. After reading some of the other reviews I’ve learned that this is an on going problem. WARNING! This app is a waste of time. Just send a regular letter via postal service.
Letters didn’t make it.

None of the letters I sent through sandboxx got to my boyfriend, they aren’t worth it.

Used it while SIT was gone. Lots of mail I wouldn’t have otherwise sent. Not all bases on here so outside bases hard to track. Poor customer support. My soldier loved getting all the mail and newsletters! Also shared with many friends and family who used the app.

I love that I can send my son who is in navy boot camp a letter and inspiration quotes as much as I want and the amount of money it costs is priceless to know he will receive my letter the next day! Thank you for having this app for all our military families and god speed to all our military! ??⚓️???

There are not enough good things I can say about this app. It has given me such peace of mind in the midst of a challenging one. It helps keep me connected and provides such helpful information! Do yourself a favor and use it!
