Holy. Freaking. $H!P.

This is probably one of the most useful apps I've ever gotten a chance to use (free trial), in my life. I'm not only choosing to and writing this review an hour before my amazing trial is over at 12:39am; I'm happy enough to even pay as much money asked to keep a sweet feature as this on my phone and computer. Neat little app! Thank you Parallels Inc. for this outta this world tech-like app that could be useful in about a nonillion different ways. Have I mentioned the fun behind the product???

Excelente aplicativo!

APerali

Great, however...

I love this app and it really is well put together and useful however, whenever there is an update I have to reset up access from desktop. This seems to always happen at the most inopportune times. When under a deadline and not near my desktop this method for re-establishing access is frustrating!

Buggy and support stinks.

Response to he developers - to be clear as he title says support stinks. I contacted support no less than four times about my issues and support has never been helpful. Since they took the time to respond here that I should contact support I feel it only relevant I relay that experience. I will try a fifth time to contact support but my experience so far with parallels support have been dreadful. I bought a lot of years of parallels when they were on sale and I'd say by and large the issues have wasted at least a year's subscription fee. If not more. Maybe support is better now. I'll try again. But I'm not going to hold my breath. If I can find a log in bug the first time I use parallels surely they can too. The only response I've ever obtained from support is to uninstall / reinstall the desktop and iOS apps neither of which fixed the issues (as expected). Support need a path to pass actual bugs to the developers but the developers should be able to see that logging into windows doesn't work properly if they tested this app at all. Original review ---- First off with windows 10 logging in is a pain. Their setting to log in using parallels access doesn't work, and hasn't for years. Second swiping the lock screen up is impossible with touch gestures, so you have to trigger the mouse. I was a very big fan of this app for a short while. But honesty rdp and jump desktop just work better and take fewer resources. Parallels need to step up and fix all the little niggling bugs with this app, it's like they got it so far then gave up developing. You can't do that when people pay a subscription. I won't be renewing and don't recommend this app to anyone any longer.

Not working

Dr. Post

Used to work fine. Now it's stopped. Basically waste of money. I make sure everything is on, all settings are unchanged. I am able to log in with free TeamViewer, but not parallels. Very Sad.

After iOS 11 - many things are broken

lanwarrior

I have been using Parallel Access for more than a year. Generally, it worked well with a few quirks. However, after iOS 11 is launched, there are so many issues that using the application can actually DELETE your data: 1). Keyboard and input lag I have the same fast connection as before (been using it with Parallel Access). Now, the keyboard input lag that when you press delete, it won’t actually delete what you’re trying to delete. BUT, if you switch to another application while inside Parallel Access, it WILL delete the new application. Example: a. In Parallel Access, opened a text document. Press delete multiple times to delete some words. Nothing happened b. Still in Parallel Access, you switch to the Mail app. Suddenly the Delete button work and it started to DELETE ALL YOUR EMAILS 2). Keyboard stuck When you press Shift+key to capitalized a letter and then let go of the shift key, Parallel Access still read the “Shift” button and all subsequent characters are now in Capital! Given the above, I would not recommend this app.

Can’t Add App Shortcuts

TransRapid

Click add and then you can toggle app shortcuts but no way to save that... In response to Parallels Developer support: No I can’t add new shortcuts from an iPad. Try it yourself and it’s obvious. Exactly as I said above: Click add and then you can toggle app shortcuts (on or off) but no way to save that... The button as it turns out was invisible. Your support was eager to help but didn’t pay any attention to my full detailed email support ticket. Your tech wanted to remote into my desktop computer to solve an app based issue. The button works fine on iPhone but is invisible on iPad and you have to know it’s there to tap it.

Please fix app shortcut bug

i_Scott

There is no way to save app shortcuts when you try to add them on the iPad version. Please fix...others have said the same thing in these reviews months ago. Save button is missing.
