Great I don't need Logmein anymore

MGZACERDOO

Works great for accessing mac files as well as your PC virtual machine. I love seeing mac folder favorites as it is on my Mac.

Parallels

Biggest POS that has ever been on my computer. It shuffles my desktop around and changes the screen resolution every time it runs. Could not get off my computer fast enough!

Keyboard Problems and No Zoom

hsarji

I have a Mac computer in the office with Parallels Desktop and Windows installed. The Parallels Access keyboard does NOT work when I log in from my iPad and try to use a Windows program (e.g., MS Word for Windows). I contacted support. They seem to be oblivious to the problem, but others have documented it online. Logmein does not have the same problem. It works fine. --- The second problem is that you cannot zoom in on text that is hard to read. The app provides three views. The first two change the resolution of your desktop, but are otherwise ok. The third view allows you to see the full computer screen. But you can't zoom in! Text is too small.

Please iPad Pro

Please add iPad Pro support!

Great access, no iPad Pro support

bretbenziger

I was hoping this app would be updated to take advantage of the extra screen pixels of the iPad pro, but it hasn't been updated and just scales everything horribly. I love the app otherwise. It just works. Gets through NATs, firewalls, and is dead simple to use. I wish it could start in desktop mode by default instead of app mode.

Problems with latest release

Suddenly I iPad keyboard won't work and makes the app worthless. No help from support. Also iPad thinks my version is out of date when it isn't.

Cannot Wake-up MacBook Pro

-Q-

Prior versions worked flawlessly & were deserving of a full 5 stars. As others have reported, Parallels Access can no longer awake my Mac from "power napping" - while on local network and remotely. Support closed my trouble ticket, and escalated to the developers; leads me to believe this is known issue. Anxiously awaiting a software update.

Security Risk

Parallels Access will punch open HUNDREDS of firewall exceptions on your router, basically leaving your mac exposed. It has been an issue for awhile (check their forums) and Parallel appears unable to resolve. I would recommend researching before using this application any further. I just uninstalled it from my Mac.

Lack of iPad Pro support is very frustrating

Without iPad Pro support, this app is very difficult to use on a bigger screen. I tried contacting support about it and they seemed to not understand the issue, instead filing it as a bug they couldn't reproduce. Hope that doesn't represent the company's understanding.

When it works its fine

William Wallace 1945

Product support could not help when this program suddenly quit working on my Windows 10 machine. It worked fine on the Mac. They said they didn't know how to fix the problem and if they ever found the problem answer they would let me know, but basically don't hold your breath. I've gone back to Team viewer.
