Love it!

Jesssaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy:)

I’ve never had any issue with this app other than getting sick of getting texts from my mother. I’ve seen some people getting upset over delayed notifications, and I’ve had that issue as well however it was because my phone itself was broken. Also have seen parents complaining about kids “not getting their messages” or, again, a delay in messages. Sorry to break it to you but it’s probably your kid lying so they can stay out later. I’ve done, my sisters done it, everyone I know has lied about getting a notification because it’s VACATION and they want time to themselves. They’re teens, it’s gonna happen they’re starting to want freedom and they’re gonna get it however they want. This app is amazing for onboard communication but only works on the ships WiFi, so maybe check your WiFi connection strength before blaming the app.

I wish I had heeded the negative reviews

Ditto to all of the negative reviews 1. Missing info in the “what’s going on” section (this should simply be a data dump; why would certain events fall out??) 2. No group texting. It would be great to send a text to the 10 people I was with to say, “meet me on deck 7” etc. but you can’t do that 3. You don’t see the text or get the call unless the app is open 4. We signed up for certain events and shows. It would be great to see that all in one place. No dice. 5. When the front desk needed to contact me, they called my room (which of course I wasn’t in - it’s a cruise). I have a smart phone with me and it is registered to their app - you’d think that they could contact me that way. I know that $10 doesn’t seem like a lot but we collectively spent $121 on something that we stopped using on day 3. If you buy this (cr)app after reading this review, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I hated it

rtyler40

You pay about $15 to activate it for each person. If you text someone on here the other person doesn’t get a notification. So it’s really hard to keep in contact. I personally hated this cruise line and never will go on it again. Nothing compares to royal Caribbean. It’s cheaper for there app/WiFi and it works

The worst

Kikin'in it Bs

The app is terrible as any form of communication with other users. Don’t waste your your money. It was only useful to view your room charges.

Disappointed

vern2303

Disappointed that this app is useless. The app doesn’t even list all of the cruise ships. Only one! Come on. I want to see my cruise ship for the experience I am paying for.

What a joke!!! ??????????

Summers03

Never stayed connected to the WiFi on the ship so we always had to reconnect and open and close the app waiting for it to finally connect again. There is no maps of the ship to help you find what you are looking for, no explanations of what activities are, no menus for restaurants, you can’t save what activities you were interested in and then be reminded about (which Carnivals app does) so I had missed an activity I forgot about. Plus my husband wanted to try and get in contact with me one day when he couldn’t find me and paid $9.99 to do the texting option. I never received the message so I didn’t know he was looking for me. When we finally found each other again he said to me about the message he sent. Apparently you have to pay $9.99 FOR EACH PERSON!! So because I didn’t accept on the app saying I wanted to pay to receive the message I didn’t know my husband was trying to send me I didn’t get the message and he payed $9.99 for nothing. What a rip off!! Don’t waste your time and especially your money!!!!

PITIFUL

LHudles

It provided no information what’s so ever. Could not make dinner reservations, or any type of reservations for that matter from the app like we were told we could do. We couldn’t see the daily itinerary, it would be useful if the daily itinerary was accessible through the app.

Complete junk

URBDS

Not even worth a lengthy review, but the on-board messaging system alone is next to useless, and it will cost you $15 bucks per device to (attempt to) communicate with others in your party. Go to Target or Walmart instead, and buy a cheap set of walkie-talkies. Yes, they are yesterday’s tech, but will be infinitely more reliable than this junk.

Furstrating

Punjabi0011

NCL charges 9.99. for the use of messaging feature between others on the same cruise. App fails miserably. You constantly have to chack if you have any message as app keeps disconecting from.the network and does not recives any alert. Messages are deliverd out of sequence at times , callimg other in your contact failed majority time NCL should not offer this service in current state even for free let alone chrging 9.99 Gave one star as callimg cabin /room worked fine

Almost useless

I gave this app two stars because it does two things 1) lets you see your onboard account 2) lets you make dinner reservations & excursions I feel like this is a lost opportunity- the app lets you see the activities but you can't bookmark them to make a daily itinerary- why not? It'd be awesome if my phone could remind me 15 mins prior to something that I wanted to do was starting. There's no times listed on the restaurant descriptions, why? Ideally the daily menu would be listed for the restaurants as well go help you decide where you'd like to eat. Why not list the drink special as well? This app should have *more* functionality than the room flier but has way less. It's too bad. A bit of programming could take this from something that feels like an afterthought to a useful app.
