Speed test module forgets to save, or even report on the test. After running the test, the app says upload and download speeds are “0”, but that is sufficient stream video on two devices. Something is broken in my $250.00 network equipment. Aside from the Speedtest being broken, this mesh network does not maintain a stable network connection to centurylink modem. My laptop will stay connected all day to the modem, but I have to reboot the mesh multiple times.
We need parental controls please.
Weight loss challenge
The pause feature is nice, but it’s not enough for parental controls. The schedule services shutoff does not work as of January 2022. I’ve tried setting it for all day, and blocking all services - but it still provides internet access. Can we please have a fix for this?

Speed test shows 0mb both ways and my 10yr old airport 5gHz time capsule seems to be a faster router. Speeds on my notebooks dropped off when converting to this mesh system. Not sure if I will keep.

After a recent update app or firmware, I can’t connect to my router by the app. No problem from the desktop. 3 weeks since no fix from Netgear. Unhappy.
Latest Update Goofed Up Device Mansgement

We have 11 devices attached to our Nighthawk but after this last update it’s showing two, three and even four of the same connected device. For example my iPhone is showing up 3 times. The app is showing a total of 55 connected devices. A major glitch in the update. Very glitchy at best after App 2.11.6 update Can barely find the router and wouldn’t do the last firmware update OTA. I had to do it manually. Netgear really needs to get the App straightened out. Update: After this latest update the Devices Manager won’t load at all. I keep getting an error message. This function has never worked properly for me. Previously it would load the same device 3 and 4 times. Now it won’t load anything. Netgear needs to straighten out this function or remove it completely.
Speed test and Connected devices Broken

SpeedTest no longer works. When trying to view the router and satellite, both show zero devices are connected. Speedtest just returns a 0 download and 0 upload. These features are broken on 1.1.6.122 firmware for satellite and router.
Latest updates are disappointing

This app, even with quirks sometimes, was pretty good. The latest updates downgraded the features and decreased its reliability it appears. 1. States that devices are on and connected when they’re not, so real time status is sketchy. 2. No longer shows which devices are on 2.4 vs 5 vs Ethernet connections. 3. No longer can flip a switch to disconnect a device. 4. No longer shows which devices are connected to each satellite. No Wi-Fi connected devices show at all, only the hardwired ones in the network map. 5. The speed test no longer works at all. No data is displayed. 6. In the device list, Ethernet connected items show as Wi-Fi. 7. My favorite, the support link on the app does nothing. They say to contact them but then the link to do so doesn’t even work. So disappointed in how many features were removed in addition to the amount of things in the app that simply no longer work at all. Was there no customer test input? Any testing at all for stability? Update: appears the app is not distinguishing between the devices that are Wi-Fi and those that are Ethernet cable.
This app is so slow.

Why does app take forever to load anything? I can’t even load settings without waiting 5 minutes.
