Was able to see my wireless and wired devices on my network when I first setup my new R7000 router. Less than 12 hours later, I now can’t see my wireless devices and my only option to select is “wired devices”... Not a good first start!!!
App is terrible

App cannot find the extender most of the time. Speed test takes forever, doesn’t show progress. Device manager fails It’s terrible.

I’m now on my 4th Netgear router since the early 90’s. (Just installed the new CAX 80) Each router has out performed its predecessor as expected. What hasn’t kept pace is the apps used to support them. Nighthawk app promises excellent functionality (just look at the pictures in the App Store) but doesn’t deliver as much as the old Genie app. My biggest complaint is that the app really runs poorly. Takes forever to load, won’t update connection status even after pulling the page down and aborts frequently. After spending over $400.00 I certainly expected more from both the hardware and the app. Not just the hardware.

The app is crashing at the sign in screen. I can’t create an account either. I tried to reload.

2/10 finally able to log back into my R7900! Back to 5 stars it goes.... Thank you Netgear ? 2/6 still didn't fix the R7900 issue yet. When you try to log in it just take you back to the log in screen again. Once you restart the app then it you have the time out logging error. I am not alone on this. Those app maker should get their act together. Calling customers service is a waste of time.
