Works much better then router provided by Spectrum. Speeds throughout our 2300 sq foot home and in the garage and lanai are not degraded at all.
Nighthawk UI is bad, often it does not function well, hard to know how it works and what info shows
This app is too inconsistent for something as important as wifi management. It often crashes, makes you log in multiple times, doesn’t save any changes I make in the device management section, and will literally tell me I’m not connected to wifi even when I am and I’m using the app. Netgear needs to make sure this app is running 100% flawlessly at all times. Most people don’t know any other ways to manage their wifi and aren’t going to know how to manage through the web and logging in to the router. Edit: my app no longer shows all of my devices. I have at least 10 and only 3 show in my app. This app needs massive support. Honestly customers are better off buying other non netgear products.
App works when it decides to work. Multiple times I’ll have to open and close it because it shows it’s connected to the router but shows zero devices connected. The “remote access” feature never works. I don’t even bother with it anymore. The apps UI is much nicer compared to the internet browser interface but I find myself using the browser a lot more just because of reliability. It’s not worth the time to mess around with this app when I can just use routerlogin site and have zero problems.
Purchased at Costco. Should’ve returned. Nothing but constant issues. I’d pitch it if I’d hadn’t invested two much at this point. Seriously, beware.
The router somehow, after being a little over a year old and without a warranty is having major issues. It's supposed to get up to 1000mbps speeds but does not. My internet is 400 Mbps, yet this router that's supposed to be for 4k tv, gaming is garbage. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A NETGEAR ROUTER AFTER HAVING THREE THAT HAD SIMILAR ISSUES. THATS THREE IN A SIX YEAR PERIOD. GARBAGE!
Although there is an excellent signal, it says u amble to connect to wireless.
Es la peor app que he usado en mi vida, nada amigable, no tiene botones de retroceso, caida la pagina de recuperación de contraseña, no sirve el face id, en fin es una porqueria
I am infuriated that I must set up another online account. I only want local features and want nothing to do with the remote features but for anyone who wants to use just local still must set up another stupid online account before you can use the stupid app. All that should be required for those that want local only is the name and password for the routers control portal not a thing more.
