I wish this app was not so difficult

Susan Untethered

I am trying to figure out cost of theme park tickets during our stay at a select resort hotel. Impossible to do. I do not need the same tickets for our party of 8. We would need 4 day tickets and 3 day tickets. We only need water park for 1 day and park hopper for 2 days. Is this possible? I waited on chat for more than 15" twice with no answer. What is genie. How much does it cost? Now I have to call but I have also received some terrible information from a call to make reservations. They had to be completely redone by another operator. Good luck!!

Awful

universals better anyway

You have to use the app but it doesn’t work. Spent 3 hours in a chat trying to get magic mobile to work just to find out that I will have to call and spend 2 hours on hold.

Phone does not open door

Get to the resort, unload car. Can’t get into room. Phone will not open door. Call have to wait for someone to come open the door. Then they are going to get room keys. No one knows why the phone won’t work. Cast member comes back with roon key, no answer why it doesn’t work. Says IT will call the room to see if they can correct the problem. So now I am suppose to stay in my room and wait for a phone call????? Certainly now what I expect from Disney. Very disappointing. Cast member (Jessica) wasn’t very helpful either. Looking forward to your response.

While the staff in the parks themselves were kind for the most part, the parking staff at Disney Springs and Hollywood Studios were aggressive bordering on threatening on my days in these places. They fail to articulate what they want you to do, except when they flipped me off when my grands was having a meltdown at “his job”, where to go and what’s expected of a guest. This has not been my experience in the 50 years I’ve been vacationing at the parks. I was embarrassed for my children and grandchildren to see this behavior from your staff, considering how much the little ones looked forward to our trip.

LOVE This App

Very easy to use. It’s very helpful when planning dinner reservations, linking hotels and tickets.

Very confusing and constantly down or not responding

When searching for many things if you click on an option and then go back it takes you completely back to the beginning and not just back to where you last were. If you do get to what you want to book or reserve 9 times out of 10 the system is busy or goes down and you have to start all over again

Not so magical app

This app is horrible. It’s not intuitive, it’s hard to navigate and is missing some very simple and logical functionality. For example, you can see wait times for rides but have to go into a completely different part of the app to book your Lightning lane tickets. The same goes for making dinner reservations. If you use the apps mapping functions to get from one ride to another, you can’t zoom out to see the bigger picture. It’s very clear that Disney is worried about COVID because the Home Screen is has about 3/4 of the screen taken up by notifications or warnings. There’s no “I accept” button to make the warning collapse and stay collapsed. I look forward to uninstalling this from my phone when we leave Disney World.

Not So Magical Trip

Please contact me as I have made enough effort to have Disney resolve our stay issues. Bottom line is we wasted more time with guest services that we did as a family

The most embarrassing UI for a billion dollar company

This app should be a case study for the worst wireframing I’ve seen in my life. I wouldn’t pay for a monstrosity like this. Embarrassing.
