This app says it is no longer supported and I need to download an updated Lorex app. What does that mean?

Great app up until it stopped working a last week and said I needed to firmware update my NVR. I updated it still no connection to any of my cameras. Then it made me download Lorex Cloud which is outdated and is not user-friendly at all! What is the point in paying $800+ for a 4k camera system if it's only in 420p on the app. Can't screen record or snapshot anymore and the live feeds aren't even scaled properly! This app better be fixed ASAP!

Was forced to update to this app because the app I was using for Lorex was no longer supported. The other app worked perfectly never an issue. However this app I downloaded five days ago I was told within 24 hours will be working perfectly. Today has been five days I cannot connect to my cameras unless I’m at my home Wi-Fi network. When I’m out and about on cellular or at a place with Wi-Fi I cannot connect to my cameras what’s the use of have an IP cameras if you cannot connect to them. I have called customer service and they keep pushing me off telling me another day yesterday I called they told me wait another six hours. They keep telling me this app is going to be easier to use and more secure however I find it to be horrible and not working. We pay all these money for these high definition IP camera systems and forced to an app that doesn’t work properly before it’s ready. Developers when can we expect to see some results in this app working properly. What’s the point of having a surveillance system if I can’t view it???

This company is one of the worst. Camera is good but so are the other competitors cameras. I have issues with client 1, mobile app can not connect. The tech support doesnt answer calls or reponse to email ticket Their online chat is ridiculous with wait time. Do yourself a favor and buy something else!!

Forced to upgrade to this app. Previously using the Flir Cloud app and it worked flawlessly. Checking my cameras through this app takes about 2 minutes to establish a connection.

Like others I did the update which required the app to be updated. No longer getting alerts, video enhancement doesn’t work.

The camera is great. And the software has worked well. Recently I was told they were going to upgrade the software and I would need to upgrade the camera or just the software. I have tried repeatedly through the website to determine whether I need an exchanged camera. When I hit the final submit button, nothing happens. This morning I got a notice I would need to download a new app and upgrade the firmware. Again I went to the website and can’t find where to download the new app. I have repeatedly sent emails to support on all of this and got no response. Very frustrating. And now the camera has stopped working due to the app I have not recognizing it. ?♂️

If you have WiFi usb cameras, this app will not work with them despite the support page saying otherwise, effectively bricking your equipment. Lorex disabled the Lorex Secure App in the meantime. This app needs to be removed and a class action lawsuit should be filed.
