Won't connect to my DVR anymore

All of a sudden now, when I attempt view my cameras remotely from my iphone using either the Lorex Secure app or the FLIR Cloud app, it says "failed to connect," "unable to reach device," or "this device is offline." However, I can access the cameras using the FLIR Cloud application on my laptop which shows that they are in fact "online." Please fix this bug. The entire $1.5K system is useless without this app.

Got our system today and so far not even close to being easy to install. Got the app on the phone and that's it, can't add other 2 phones and now I've been locked out of the system can't access anything. I've followed all written instructions and tutorials to no avail, tomorrow if Tech Support can't get this thing up and running it's going back and I'll find a better company and system!


App needs major improvements

The app has tons of problems! It doesn’t tell you what camera is sensing motion. Also, it is constantly crashing and lagging.

Initially things seemed good then after a couple days we had some wind. Got notifications on my iPhone one after another. Had to turn all cameras to privacy mode until wind stopped. There is no motion sensitivity adjustment! Notifications told me what camera was tripped then on 4 April 2018 all notifications changed to say it was from the system name I set up so all notifications from my 4 cameras said the same thing meaning I could not tell which camera had been activated. App was not updated so have no idea how that change occurred. Also many recordings show no sign of motion. Also when recording starts playback there are banners at top and bottom of screen for a few seconds which visually hinders seeing any motion in those areas. I have my camera set for 20 seconds of recording but sometimes only 4 or 5 seconds get recorded. Also the first few seconds of the thing that tripped the motion detector are not recorded so if a person is fast they can enter and exit and not even show up on the recording. When you click on the notification it takes you to the live view and not the actual clip that caused the notification to be sent. Recordings are sometimes stuttering, I.e. not continuous motion. Motion detection senses shadows from trees and a waving flag and I have had to adjust my cameras field many times trying to avoid resulting in a much smaller field of view than I would like. Sure hope developer will fix most of these problems.

I’ve been using the Lorex Wi-Fi cameras or just less than two months. All of a sudden I don’t have motion detection for the past couple days. I tried to send feedback from the app but apparently it goes to a non-existing email address. Have not found a solution.


NEEDS UPDATES!

This app is horrible. First off it's not updated to fit the iPhone X screen. Second, the battery indicators are wrong. I get a notification saying my battery is at 20% but when I go and look at it , it says it's full. Another camera I just replaced the battery in, the app tells me it hhad two bars left. I swapped it out for a full battery and still says it's two bars. I tried reinstalling the app and it's still the same. I tested it on my Android phone and the lorex app on Android is working properly. Lorex please update the is app!!!


Couple issues

Couple things. First is that when I’m reviewing a motion activated video on my phone, and I want to fast forward or rewind the video, it fails to load and I have to start the video over. Even in the 30second playback. Second thing is, why don’t we have the option of adjusting the time for the NVR through the app instead of making us connect to a tv or monitor to be able to adjust that.

App is very slow. Have used many other WiFi type cameras and apps and can say there’s no reason why this one is so slow. Since iPhone X, I cannot review recorded clips. Have sent them a message, got a reply that a ticket was created, but never heard from them (have been a week). App is very unreliable. Sometimes it’s amazing, other times I just want to pull out my hair. Worst part of all is I’m stuck with this because there are no other options, until I buy into another different system.


Corrupted Video Error Msgs

When logging into the app all I get are corrupted video error messages. System working fine at home but can’t see anything (recorded or live) via the app. Tried deleting/reinstall with the same result.
