Very non-responsive buggy App

Don't buy lorex/flir cameras if you intend to use phone App to remotely view live video feed or playbacks. The just donot work. Period. If you think about contacting their customer service to fix any issues, don't hold your breath either. This is by far the worst App that comes with a $500 hardware equipment. Lorex/flir : you should hire a SW engineer that really knows how to write an iOS app. By the way your windows version of the sw rocks, but that is not what ppl want to use.

Recording/Playback is Very Bad

So I have had 3 different camera systems from Swann, Night Owl and now Lorex over the past 3 years. They all have plenty of room for improvement in different ways, not sure why the developers don’t update these easy fixes. Playback on the Lorex Secure app is a disaster. There is not a user friendly way to maneuver through the timeline once your in, if it connects at all. The slider at the bottom should have a dynamic time stamp like every other app does. Then if you slide it too far at once, it disconnects and you get nothing. Very frustrating. In addition you get a very low resolution on playback with not option to adjust. Come on Lorex/Flir, try using these features yourself and you could clearly see they don’t work well or at all most of the time. Please update before end of the year.

Security Issue

With the exception of security it seems to work well. For my brothers setup if I open the app and immediately select a camera I don’t have access to I will have access and see what is going on inside his house. If I wait maybe 2 to 5 seconds before selecting the camera it will say denied or for any subsequent selection. But, it is just as easy to close the app and reopen and select a different camera to defeat the security.

Speed issues are gone

EDIT: Lorex, the speed issues are fixed. Much faster now, thanks!! Lorex - you had a good run lately, the updates have been good. This latest update is awful. My nvr supports 8 cameras but only has 4 currently in use. This new update shows 8 channels instead of the 4 only, very annoying. The response time to connect to a camera is very slow whereas prior to the update it worked great. Please fix.

audio issues

it says two way audio. it seems i only hear one way. tried to talk to them no sounds coming from speaker. no volume for adjustment in speaker of camera or no speaker at all.

Fix this app, it’s horrible!!!

Most recent update, all of the sudden can’t view my cameras after the update. Also, I can’t log in through ddns unless I’m on a computer that will allow me to download the software. Lorex needs to fix this, I should be able to change all the settings ddns allows me from the app. My cameras are down and when I’m away from home I can’t even log in and fix it. I have a perfectly good phone that can’t modify any of my NVR settings. Thinking of returning the entire system.

I’m never able to see my house when I leave never connects always says cameras are disconnected when I get home there working I hate this app getting new cameras.

I can’t view my cameras but I can login?! Don’t update . I get a message saying “access denied, check with owner “ I am The Owner!
