Day 1 After getting the cameras set up and getting the app installed on my phone, everything is working. The camera feed and app is not as fluid as I would like it to be, but it works pretty well so far. The set up seemed pretty straight forward, but I work in IT, so this isn’t foreign to me. The manual seems to explain things fairly well, but you may have to read it a few times to understand it all. The screws that come with the camera mounts stripped out or broke. I suggest new or stronger screws to mount the camera brackets or drill pilot holes (especially in concrete board). I plan to edit this review in a few months for an update in how well it is doing. Hope this helps!
Can’t add my security system to the app
iPhone 3Gs is sick!!
I’d rate it zero but I can’t. I’m not able to add my new camera system. Keeps saying incorrect password or username. ???

After two returns to the store and bad tech support I hope my third one works. Looks like a great product. I really want it to work. But now seeing how sams club is giving $200 off. Maybe it’s just a bad product. Hope not. Just seems quality is not the best. I know the tech support is terrible.
Works fine for my regular cameras but horrible controls for PTZ cameras

This app was easy to set up and works fine for my regular cameras. I can view all 8 cameras at once or just one. However, I added a PTZ camera which this app allows me to move the camera. Moving the camera with this app is almost impossible and very frustrating. I try to adjust my camera a small amount left or right to the view I want and sometimes it works. Other times it goes 90* left or right and all the way up. It usually takes a few mins and attempts to move the camera where I want it. This defeats the purpose of a PTZ camera which should be able to move to look at a subject moving on my property. The app also doesn’t give access to the preset camera views or tours that are set up on the NVR. If the preset views or tours were available via this app, I would not need to manually move the camera in this app. Lorex please up date this app and fix this bug.

No clear way to save video events to your phone from the app. Only a picture snapshot from live view. Unacceptable. This should be an upfront standard feature considering nearly every competing company has this feature.

I’m not sure what people are complaining about on here because the system works great and you can watch live video on your smart phone wherever you are. We have had zero problems with this system and would recommend it to anyone!

This app is not user friendly and can’t control most functions of the system. Unfortunately, it’s the only Lorex app for my model of the Lorex Security System. Takes forever to load. Recording is fuzzy. Wasted my time with the installation!
