This app is excellent. I’m able to control my travel quickly and easily! No hassle and very easy to use! Once you’ve submitted your approval travel plans, it’s a matter of finalizing your selection and paying. No need for a travel agent!!

Update: they finally reached out and offered me a refund and said there was a software glitch that posted the wrong hotel name and contact. It still feels fishy but I am glad they refunded me promptly. —— Horrible SCAM! No hotel and no refund?!! I arrive at the address on my confirmation email and the hotel doesn’t exist! I called the number because I thought the address was wrong and she said she is a private BnB and doesn’t even list with Hopper and has no notice of my reservation. She said this has happened several times before. Worst part is that I notified hopper and they are denying my refund. Not only is every hotel in the area booked except expensive ones, I’m having to pay way over what I expected for a last minute booking and deal with Hopper being shady and denying a refund.
Price Freeze and Poor Customer service

Price freeze is a scam and customer service is rude. When I asked about changing my fight customer service told me they’d be happy to help just “one moment.” Cue 40 minutes later when they copy and pasted policy and were rude to me. They were not even apologetic or helpful.

Overall terrible experience using Hopper platform. I paid for a flight over a month ago, and quickly cancelled the reservation through the “1-hour void” option I was provided. After voiding tickets, no refund was issued. I received a message letting me know that the transaction would be reversed, but still checked to confirm if it would be in fact reimbursed. All I was told after voiding it was that I could not cancel because the window for voiding it had closed (it had not, I requested it within 20 minutes; but, of course, their response was outside the void timeframe). To this day I have not received any response from Hoppper or refund whatsoever. Most definitely will not take the risk of using this app again.
Only use this app if you want terrible customer service and to lose money.

I had used hopper exclusively for my travel for three years. When covid hit I had to unexpectedly cancel a trip and was given a credit. When I went to rebook my trip with my credit, the “specialist” booked me a flight for twice what I paid! There were at least three other flights he could have booked for me that would have equaled the value of my flight credit. He then charged me over $500 for the difference! The kicker is when I looked at the flight myself, it was half that! I will never use this app and do not advise anyone else to.

I have had issues with Hopper in the past and found customer service to be helpful, so I continued to use it. Listen to me when I say DO NOT USE THIS APP!!! It continues to give me problems. I froze the price on 2 hotels and immediately found a cheaper price online. So I went to go unfreeze and the only option was to use the money towards another purchase. I was able to contact customer care BUT he was absolutely not helpful, kind, but not helpful. He listed off a ton of unwritten rules about the money! Now I can not get it back and although I can get credit, it will expire in less than a month??? Absolutely ridiculous and so disappointed in this app
