Most annoying app ever!

The app works for getting a ride and ordering food, but it will bombard you with ads all the time. You have to watch 2-5 ads every time time your get a ride. I kid you not, open the app: ad, click ride: ad, select destination: ad, click order: ad! I turned off all notification because you get 5 ads a day on top of that, and then I don't get notified when the drivers message me. If any developer is reading this, please add an option to turn off all those ads, this is not a free service to be add based. We don't speak Thai, we cant understand anything anyway!

Turned off push notifications for all of your promotions... still notifies me of them.

I turned off push notifications of “Offers from Grab” & “Partner Offers” a long time ago within the in-app settings, yet just yesterday (Sept. 7, 2019) at 8:26 PM you notified my device the following message: “Earn a Free Ride 3x Faster with the Citi Grab Credit Card! Click to Find Out How.” This is in CLEAR VIOLATION of Apple App Store Guidelines, specifically sections 4.5.3 and 4.5.4. Part of Section 4.5.3 states: “Do not use Apple Services to spam, phish, or SEND UNSOLICITED MESSAGES TO CUSTOMERS, including Game Center, Push Notifications, etc.” Section 4.5.4 states: “Push Notifications must not be required for the app to function, and should NOT BE USED FOR ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONS, OR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES or to send sensitive personal or confidential information. Abuse of these services may result in revocation of your privileges.” I can’t turn off push notifications for the Grab app altogether in the iOS Settings because I would still need to receive TRIP-RELATED notifications (such as messages from the driver & ETA of my ride) and ONLY THAT.

Every time I attempt to use a promotion the app crashes. So I end up paying full price if I want to use the service

I'm on vacation in Vietnam visiting family at the moment and I love how this service is very convenient with many delicious options, and especially the option to pay by cash or card, which is good for when you're out of one or the other. It's helped me a lot for sure.
