Turned off push notifications for all of your promotions... still notifies me of them. – Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery Review

I turned off push notifications of “Offers from Grab” & “Partner Offers” a long time ago within the in-app settings, yet just yesterday (Sept. 7, 2019) at 8:26 PM you notified my device the following message: “Earn a Free Ride 3x Faster with the Citi Grab Credit Card! Click to Find Out How.” This is in CLEAR VIOLATION of Apple App Store Guidelines, specifically sections 4.5.3 and 4.5.4. Part of Section 4.5.3 states: “Do not use Apple Services to spam, phish, or SEND UNSOLICITED MESSAGES TO CUSTOMERS, including Game Center, Push Notifications, etc.” Section 4.5.4 states: “Push Notifications must not be required for the app to function, and should NOT BE USED FOR ADVERTISING, PROMOTIONS, OR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES or to send sensitive personal or confidential information. Abuse of these services may result in revocation of your privileges.” I can’t turn off push notifications for the Grab app altogether in the iOS Settings because I would still need to receive TRIP-RELATED notifications (such as messages from the driver & ETA of my ride) and ONLY THAT.
