Mostly, it works.

Out of the box in mid-2019, it worked with iPhone 7. Which I admit was nice at the time. Then I put it back in its case. As of today, 11/25/2019, when I powered it on, inserted it, and started the app, the phone did not recognize it, before or after a charge with the provided cable. The app and the phone IOS are fully updated today and it just does not work. Fixed eventually with several power off and on cycles and rebooting the app, then waiting — eventually it worked. For that, it gets bumped up from one star to three. Not a great app, but overall a decent product when it’s working.
Doesn’t work with my Gen 2.

I’ve contacted support to get it running and done a hard reset, but it still isn’t working. I bought my Flir shortly before the Gen 3 release and used it about 3 or 4 times and that’s all before the new update a couple years ago. It hasn’t worked since. My iPhone, iPad, and other friends’ iOS devices will not recognize the device, even though when it is first connected, there is a sound.

Strange, didn’t even use the app but have pictures from somebody else’s account from two years ago... wonder her now has my pictures. Didn’t even ask to have access to photos only camera.
App Needs an update

Using app with FLIR One Pro (gen 3) on an iPhone XR running iOS 13.3. App randomly freezes requiring shut down and refresh. App controls work erratically. It seems like the capabilities of the newer FLIR device may be too advanced for the app. At the FLIR price point I expected a much better and more reliable app interface.

There was a pop up asking if I wanted to make a FLIR account and the only two options were “yes” and “later,” there wasn’t a “no” or “never” or a “FFS, I will never make a flir account.”

I have the original FLIR camera, app keeps on not recognizing the camera after working for a few seconds, every thing is charged and up to date frustrating!

I was very excited for this when I saw what you could do with it. Then realized that you need to bye some other thing to use it.
Good except watermark

The abilities of the tiny device and this app seem to nearly match much larger and more expensive thermal cameras. I’m impressed with the ease of use and variety of settings available. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the app watermarks all of your images with the FLIR branding, and there is no setting to turn this off. This seems presumptuous and a little annoying.
You have to buy the thermal camera with this

Hello if you have this one star since it “didn’t work” have you tried buying the thermal camera attachment for it? iPhones don’t come with thermal cameras
