I filed a report on a pair of shoes I ordered across the sea, idk if the shoes is destroyed from delivery or the person lied through pictures. The shoe has many, many cracks, a few HUGE crack like an earthquake hit it and the soles are coming off. It wasn’t wet when it came in, so I don’t know how it’s destroyed. I filed a complaint + pictures multiple times already. I still have yet to get an Email back from them. Customer service is one of the worst. I don’t know how this has 4.8 review rating when every where else online Depop is under a 2 Star review. ThTs when I was searching if anyone else dealt with same situation as me

Depop is complete scam for the seller. I sold two items for $20 and received the payment through paypal. Then I received three charges by Depop on my paypal account that added up to $24!!! They CHARGED me for my own stuff that I own. I sent in a request support form telling them about this, and their response was “those were charged by paypal and you need to contact them” IT CLEARLY SAYS IT WAS DEPOP THAT CHARGED ME. I even included a screenshot in the request. I issued a refund for the customer and it took money out of MY account so now I PAID to refund the person instead of depop giving them a refund. I got no money from the sale, I actually was charged $4 for the sale and they still charged me for the refund. So i basically just paid money for something that I already OWN. I took all my listings off depop and I will never be using it again. Looking for a good alternative like poshmark or something.

Depop allows scammers to sell items that don’t exist and rip buyers off. I opened up a dispute with Depop support, who were absolutely useless. Time to call my credit card company for a chargeback and delete this app. Update: in response to the “developer response,” I have emailed you. You never emailed me back. I’ll definitely be requesting a chargeback, as I don’t wish to use Depop in the future.
Horrible bugs and frustrating process

I’ve been selling on Mercari and poshmark for the longest time and depop is my least favourite app to sell on just because how much it glitches out for no reason. I have to make size and brand selections 3-4 times each listing because it keeps glitching out. Makes me not want to use it!!
Cant make purchases

Ive done literally EVERYTHING. Paypal and apple pay. Wifi and mobile data. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Contacted the seller to make sure their paypal was good to go and it was. I have plenty of money in my bank account. I even tried a stupid VPN. Yet everytime i go to make a purchase, it successfully clears my bank and then fails on depop’s app giving me the error “Couldnt complete purchase. Try again later.”, and then paypal refunds my bank. This is literally an issue with the Depop app. Every tech support person Ive talked to has tried to blame it on me, my bank, the seller, and Paypal. Everyone else is working just fine. The stupid depop app is not. Your app is so broken I can’t even make purchases. Please fix it ?

Sold 3 items within 7 days of being on the app. One I was paid for because they used PayPal. (Thankfully) The other 2 items were sold mid-Jan and I’m still waiting to be paid. Yes, I verified my bank and identity. Also, my payout date constantly changes. I needed the money from my sales in a few days, not a few weeks. I’m done with this app.

Device banned for one mistake

I accidentally accepted today’s date as my birthday and my device was instantly banned. Account blocked. No new account available. This should be fixed, very risky to create an account with such an avoidable mistake

Too many issues with app glitches. Literally every time Depop does an update, something new starts to go wrong. Constantly freezing and crashing. Latest update: now I can’t see my feed. Also it has taken 14weeks plus to get a response to my other tech issues and still no fix. ALSO I had an item removed from sales, then when I asked for clarification after having them restored, I was IGNORED and ghosted. Please hire more people to give customer service and hire a new app developer. I’m not the only one. Check the reviews, Reddit, Instagram…..
