Lots of unique shops!

I really love depop. This app has attracted a lot of really fun shops and buyers. It's a super supportive community and I love being a part of it! ❤️

I love this app

I've sold great things, and bought a lot of rare items! This app is amazing

Almost Perfection...

Love the app. Just been having constant crashing issues when I scroll down the Explore page

Bugs!

Romaha27

I like the app and the whole concept behind it. I found trustworthy sellers and have bought from them a few times. The second I tried to list something though the app stopped working. Nothing is loading, and the item fails to list and there is no draft that saves if there is an error, so I have to start over each time. I restarted my phone and even downloaded the upgrade for the app, but it still doesn't work.

A fun and easy way to sell some stuff! ?

Awful

I love the format, and if the "depop team" was competent, this could easily be the best marketplace app. However, they are more interested in sucking up to bloggers and getting new users than moderating the app. Most of the users are 15-18, and don't understand...well, basic manners and common sense. I've spent too much time fielding stupid questions or repeating the description to justify the money I made. When I've had problems with these kids trying to start bizarre feuds or buying things without reading the descriptions, I got zero help from depop. There are so many bugs, the app never works properly.

Great, but can definitely use improvements.

Sweetheartedly

Let me start by saying I am pretty much in love with this app. I use it for selling and buying, and have had success with both. But with all great things there are definitely improvements that can be made. PROS : - I love the way it is formatted, very simplistic and modern. - The users that I have come across have been friendly and compromising. - It is easy to use. - there are a lot of sellers that are selling currently in stock things from department stores. - a lot of vintage clothing/accessories - majority of the sellers reasonably price their items. (Although like always, there are a few people that price things outrageously) - the messaging tool is very easy and nice. - It is wonderful if you want to have a little more control, as it isn't as strict/overbearing as other selling apps. CONS : - I'll be honest there is definitely a highlight on certain users, which is fine for people who are just buying things, but it does make it difficult for new users to make sells. I have been lucky enough to make three cells in two weeks. (Highlighted users can make 20+ sells a month) it would be nice if they would highlight new users with at least a couple five star reviews on the explore page sometimes. I take high quality photos of high quality brands and include thorough descriptions, yet never get featured. - Majority of buyers are looking for one of two things 1: good deals on good brands (topshop, brandy melville, urban outfitters, free people, for love and lemons, Zara) 2: good quality vintage things. Which is an okay thing, but if you are not selling either of these things the sells that are made decrease quite a bit. - you cannot send pictures through the messaging tool. If someone asks you for a try on, you have to make sure it's a good enough photo to upload onto the item listing itself. - you can only upload four pictures per item. (Which wouldn't be too bad if you could send photos through messaging) - I am not sure if this is just something I experience, but sometimes I won't receive the notifications until hours after the actual notification was made. (Ex: someone will send me a message, and it won't pop up until the next day.) - It would be nice if brands would be apart of the filters when searching for things. Or the filter was a little bit more specific. - due to people wanting to be seen, they tend to tag brands that they know people want, on items that are not those brands. & although I understand why they do it, it can be hard to find what you're actually looking for, sometimes. Overall though I am very pleased with this app. If all the cons are fixed, it would be awesome in every way possible. I go on the app daily and enjoy the process and the app itself. I highly recommend it.
