I’ve been selling on depop for a year and my account was suspending for violating terms. They promised to restore my account after 21 days and it’s been well over 21 days and i’ve emailed customer support 4 different times and i haven’t got anything back. I’m very disappointed in depop for promising to restore my account after 21 days and i still haven’t gotten a follow up. Customer care hasn’t reached out and it’s been 5 days of me emailing them and still nothing. very disappointed depop, instances like this make it hard to return to the app. i’d greatly appreciate help but who knows if i’ll get that.

my only complaint is certain users and the 10% fee but it’s honestly worth it with how easy everything else is. i’ve always had great customer service experience with them and it’s incredibly easy to use.

i had a payment get refunded to a buyer with no warning, email or anything after nearly 2 months of the item getting delivered to the buyer with no issues. i will never be using depop ever again. SELLERS BEWARE! i have seen a ton of ppl online with the exact same issue only to never get resolved because they have a crappy online “customer support” email… which they never reply. very very sketchy company. wish i could give 0 stars.


It’s nice, but there’s an issue with the billing.

I really like the app, but I can’t sell anything because I don’t have a Paypal. It’s a really big shame, because I want to sell my stuff, but I just can’t because of this issue. Please get this fixed as soon as possible.

This is the worst second hand app ever. Sellers don’t respond on their items, things never ship, and response from app support is minimal. We tried to purchase 3 different luxury items, and never received any after paying via DePop like sellers requested. Had to contact support AFTER 7 days from purchase, then support stated the seller still had 7 days to ship before a refund could be made. So 14 total days of ZERO contact from seller. When I did get a response from one seller about requesting a refund after waiting for shipment and no communication from them, the final response was OK that I wasn’t purchasing item. This platform seems like a MAJOR SCAM!!!

I wanted to like this app but if you want to wait for weeks to receive a refund then this is the app for you!! I haven’t received my item( the buyer never shipped it nor replied to my messages) and It takes so long to get a refund. Since the buyer has to make a claim through PayPal it’s a pain trying to get your money back. I still haven’t received any resolution on this isssue. Every other site (Poshmark, Mercari, curtsy) that is a resale app getting a refund is easy and usually takes a day or so. On Depop it’s a whole process. I am really disappointed and will not be using the app anymore or selling anything as dealing with PayPal is not worth the headache. There are many other apps that are much easier to use and more costumer friendly. Wouldn’t recommend

I sold a pair of vintage shoes in new condition, the buyer said they arrived broken didn’t even contact me about the issue and left me bad feedback. I made a report with proof that I didn’t ship them broken (ALOT of IT). And Depop is refunding the buyer instead of helping me with the issue. I am not upset because of the refund I always do refunds even if it’s not my fault on my own behalf. I am upset because Depop support doesn’t even care if you have proof. They will still refund the buyer when there is a possibility usps broke the item or the buyer broke the item to get a refund. But they don’t consider other possibilities.
