There’s so many spam bots now trying to sell high end items and it’s obviously fake so please fix this

My account has been suspended since November last year. I reached back out to you in less then three hours when I was sent that email regarding my account but depop can’t reactivate my account after three months and like 50 emails later. This is my only source of income.

Don’t start a business

If you’re downloading Depop to start a business, maybe don’t. The 1% of Depop users who do this have niche content and have been doing well for a while. On top of Depop fees, PayPal fees, materials, product and shipping; you will be hard pressed to turn any kind of profit. Especially compared to the amount of work you will put in. Depop was a portion of my income and four days before Christmas, Depop shut my entire account down. Wouldn’t respond to emails, wouldn’t rectify it, didn’t care I missed out on sales over the holidays. The customer service rep seemed very annoyed to help me and offered no consolation. This is such a great concept and after etsy bought them, I thought for sure the app would improve and be a friendly user experience. No such case. You can do everything right and if a buyer wants to tank your reviews, demand a refund without returning the item, and harass you via email if they really want an item that you won’t sell for less, they absolutely can. Depop will not care.

Useless New Offer System

(As another reviewer mentioned) The new offer system is painfully useless. Offers aren’t binding and there’s no counter button, so why is it even a thing? I’m steadily receiving lowballs that I cannot counter, or when I accept the very few reasonable offers, the buyer doesn’t follow through with purchasing. ? My sales have plummeted since the official release of this feature. No longer do buyers have any intent to purchase at full price when there’s a big, shiny “OFFER” button next to the “BUY” button that entices lowballing and ghost offers. PLEASE make offers binding and add a counter button (i.e. common sense features implemented by literally every other platform) or get rid of it! Gonna have to hike my prices to counter lowballs and crosslist to other platforms in the meantime. ???

I was logged out of my old account so I had created a new one. Later, Depop sensed fraud and I received an email asking for me to say which account is the real account. I told them which account and they haven’t revived my account. It’s been over 6 months. Very disappointed

Depop Payments- So many Issues

I love this app other than the fact that you can’t edit any info if you’ve recently made ANY minuscule changes. I have money sitting in my account that I need for bills and have contacted Depop multiple times to have this issue looked it out. I just get the auto reply every time. I know where to change the info, I need help in changing it!!! Hope they get this figured out soon.

Longtime Depop seller, but bad app

I’ve been on the app for years and I’m a very active seller. I love Depop and it’s userability. However, there’s one major issue with their app: they won’t let you turn off the promotions push notifications. If you choose to turn off push notifications, you may miss a sale or a message, which is why I don’t turn them off. There’s no option to opt out of JUST the promotional push notifications, which is extremely annoying. Depop knows this and doesn’t care. If a better selling app comes along, I’d jump ship in a minute.
