When I selected my task on the app, I was given a list of pro’s. I selected a couple I thought might fit. Subsequently, I received a call from “Angi”, (the office personnel), stating I could get the price guarantee for X # of $, and they would be here next day. Great, However, they (Angi) choose the pro, (not on my list, didn’t tell me the name or contact #). Later that evening Performance Electric (Dave) called to inform me that he would not be available the next day. Bottom line, give the app process a chance, I did not enough time to research the “pro’s”, if they are Angi verified, trust and believe in them!!! They are paying for it! OBTW: You pay Boone Electric, whom I or anyone I’ve talked to I. Columbia, for the job Performance Electric did. Pretty sad!

One “pro” canceled 2x within 2 hours of the service time, another wasn’t being responsive and I asked for a new one only to be matched with the exact same one. It’s clear they aren’t vetting their “pros” so I’d be suspect of any work one does if you can actually get one to show up.

I was directed to a specific phone number to schedule service. I called and was told that number was incorrect. The app is difficult to navigate. It did show professionals for the problem I need to solve.

I’ve used ANGI for several projects tree stump removal walkway cleaning set up swing set, and each contractor was as professional as I’ve had, I hope I had known of ANGI about 7 years ago before I invested money in some of the repairs I had done.

I was over charged One guy that was supposed to change the door took to long to fix Then took my ADT alarm part. I had to purchase another one I Will never use this app again.

I decided to use Angi for several home update services so that I could have peace of mind re: insurance coverage, licensed contractors, etc. Unfortunately, tens of hours of waiting and sub-par work later, I have cancelled my subscription and have several jobs that have either not been done with quality work OR not been addressed at all. One contractor didn’t finish his shower caulking job properly (simply ran a bead of silicone around the edge and left as is), one contractor did not show up at all despite waiting for them for 4+ hours past their appointment time, and the replacement contractor for the one who didn’t show tried to get me to negotiate a rate with him directly outside of Angi AND never ended up showing up at all either. I’ve wasted days of weekend time and vacation hours from my own job waiting for Angi’s “professionals” to be present, let alone do quality work. I’ve cancelled my subscription and will be looking elsewhere for help. I highly suggest you do the same!
