I used this app and service a few years ago for several residential jobs, but in recent times the service went down in quality. The contractors weren’t calling and I get harassed by Angi. They call me 5 times per day attempting to sell me their prepay flat rate for projects I create. This has turned into a telemarketing money grab. You’re better off just using google or yelp

I signed up as a pro thinking I could get some more leads. Turns out all I get is multiple phone calls a day all from different numbers trying to get me to pay a ridiculous member fee plus 60 dollars a lead. What lead me to this review is the fact that i just got one of these calls and they had music blaring so loudly in the background I couldnt even hear her name!

I ain’t use this app again for anything. Used it once to get names of some painters and received in ending calls emails and texts all hours of the day. Not worth it … run don’t walk away from this
High dollar and poor quality lead service for venders.

Just know that the venders you seek are charged top dollar for your lead. Much more than ALL other lead service out there and the venders have to pay even if nobody answers the phone or va voicemails or never responds back at all. Thought it due diligence to share the facts.

Once I have entered some project info, they never showed me a list of vendors and started calling me, pushing one vendor they have. I ask if they have different vendors and how can I see the full list with reviews, the answer was that they have only one right now. The project was to refinish floors. There are 1000s companies around my area to do that. I guess Angi would not be my source for future project.

I found it difficult to navigate through the app to leave a review. It kept directing me in circles.

After signing into the app and trying to get an electrician I only got two official calls the rest were spam and robo caller . DO NOT sign up they sell your phone number and information . Be aware , now I am getting a bunch of link via text to check nudes and other content . I never had this issue until I sign up with angi .

I used this app to find a nationwide mover. After putting in all my information and needs, it suggested two local movers. One was overpriced and the other didn’t do nationwide moving. The app then sent me annoying texts for an appointment that was cancelled with the overpriced mover. Days later Angi called me with a hard sell call from a spoofed phone number.Slime ball tactics!!!! Don’t use this app!!!
