Terrible telephone customer service!!

Maybe I just called them on a bad day, but rep could not understand the description of my project. I kept on having to repeat myself and I had trouble understanding the rep due to their very heavy accent. The app on my iPhone 13 promax running iOS 15 crashed multiple times. Could not get basic information about their service. Used to be a good service but not anymore!

The biggest problem is with Angi. Even though I’ve hired someone I’m still getting endless calls despite notifying Angi via the app. It’s terrible!

Yard cleanup and haul away

The person sent to my home was supposed to do trimming and cleanup. He was at my home for less than 30 minutes, did not have a trailer to haul clippings and trimmings away, and after 30 minutes told me it was too cold and he could come back in a week. He gave me his cell # and inferred that I ok a payment to him today, but he really couldn’t do anything more today.

this app seemed ok at first. after filling out my request, i quickly got a text, explaining they would call me in few minutes. then they call you on what seems like a burner phone (888).. , triggering the “scam likely”, with one ring. i called one back and they re-asked for all the info i typed into the original request. finally they sent me to a contractor who didn’t answer, so i left a message with the contractor and they never called back. the next day i started getting a “scam likely” call every 6 minutes from a slightly different 888 number. after the 7 call i finally called one of them back and it turned out to be the angi app. i told them to never call me again.

This app is really hard to use. I think it’s more of a problem with the service overall.I have used the services and for the most part the work and fees were fine. But the process website and app are ridiculously hard to use. No way to find information. They don’t even give me access to fees I have paid for past work. No where to go to verify paid fees. Breakdown of fees etc. if I requested quotes but decided yo not do the project I cant figure out how to remove it. No way to know who you’re working with if you book through them. Also I have a worker booked for today. I get a text saying Track your professional on their way. And I can’t find anywhere where I’m able to track them. Service is ok if you have no way of finding and sourcing professionals. But be prepared for loads of frustration.

The Angi app is the absolute worst. You’re forced into using it for a project, then you get spammy “update” emails with various options, but no matter which one you click, they all take you to the app landing page. The app has none of the items they asked you to select on the email. Entering a password to create an account crashes the app, so you have to get a one-time-code whenever you use it. I’ve never used an app this poorly designed. I feel sorry for the contractors paying to connect to customers through Angi.
