I’m getting tired of seeing this ad, please stop.

On Tuesday, August 20, 2019, Forest Tree Care, Inc arrived at my home in the morning to provide maintenance to five trees ( Chinese Elm tree, Magnolia tree, two large Palm trees and a small tree in the front yard. They did a great job and cleaned up the area prior to vacating the premises. Sixto and his crew were awesome and I will be utilizing their services for future Tree maintenance.?

I live in a city of 100K + and Home Advisor could not find one company to do my project! Totally useless...

I called BEN in an emergency that I had. The same day I called he came and gave me an estimate. I thought it was very reasonable and within a few hours called him back to say he has the job. They were very hard workers and also friendly. The work they performed in the heat and humidity was unbelievable and I can say very confidently that I am the very proud owner of a brand spanking new roof and would highly recommend their work. I used home advisor because I am not familiar with area contractors. Needed roof work done. Hired one from Home Advisor with 5 stars. Gave me a quote that I thought was a little high. Did a terrible job. Said he would do it over and made it worse. Complained to home advisor and they took a week to get back to me. Then made it a 3 way and allowed the contractor to rant and rave for 15 minutes. Then told me to call back in 48 hours to file an official complaint. That’s what I thought I was doing. But I guess not!

I contacted Stay Cool. Asked technician to have an estimate to me; still waiting. In that I found the verbal high I contacted Flo-Rite. They will go tomorrow for an assessment. I will let you know the outcome.

Cannot trust their rating system

I tried them when getting a new roof on a house and one of their “highest rated and awarded” companies showed up like a pair of used car salesmen and wanted to charge me 2-3x the going rate of most of their competitors, ($20,000+ more for a comparable roof) and tried high pressure tactics to sign at that moment and they wouldn’t leave when asked to do so. I am not foolish enough to pay such an outrageous price but feel sorry for those who do because they trusted the rating system. This Roofing company is known in my area as being the most crooked so obviously their rating has been paid for in one way or another. Get several comparable bids and do your own homework and don’t trust the rating system.

Avoid!! This site has no control on the providers!

Asked for providers of vent and duct cleaning in Chicago. Got only one provider. Not the multiple choices as advertised. And that one provider had no visibility to the project details that I put in my request at home advisors. Also, they denied aspects of the service that Home Advisors claimed that they provided. When I asked why, they claimed that they do not control what HA does. Unbelievable. Avoid!!!!
