I'm pleased

Ivy blue1

I'm pleased with it so far I used my iPhone and did a couple of trips from it with no issues. One time when I was connected to my home wifi a "error" popped up when I was buying the tickets I just hit my button on my phone to turn off the wifi and let my cell service wifi pick up.... It went though no problem. I love the safe, convenience of doing it from my phone on the go at anytime of day no waiting on the phone :))))

Flawed real time schedule updates

CFIair

Good that the people on the train get timely updates of late arrivals. Sad that people picking them up have to be so far in the dark. Train #174 today shows on time for the last 1.5 hour even though their had delays and telling people on train, they will be up to 35 minutes late already.

Horrible App

Peeveduser20016

Compared to other apps I use for travel, this is atrocious. Yes, it looks fine. But for the mere fact that in order to get my ticket AFTER I’ve logged in I need to provide a reservation number and email/phone, I’d give it a ZERO. This is a UX question. I’ve provided you my info, you recognize me, my points, tickets, trip history, everything should be there a tap away. I shouldn’t have to log in additionally to get that simple info. That’s the whole reason I’m using the app! Think about it, I’m on my phone. The ability to toggle back and forth between the app asking for my reservation number, and the pdf in my email with the reservation number is a PITA. Now I have to copy the reservation number and go back to the app to input it. God forbid there is an extra space. Why am I doing this anyway, I ALREADY LOGGED IN. Thank you Lord, because I can add the ticket to My Wallet and I won’t have to go back to this POS for anything. If I could send the pdf directly to My Wallet, I’d never use this.

Hopeful, but sad

Currently unable to log in. App hangs on an accurate login/password combo. Able to log in via browser, but app itself throws an error on login attempt. Once fixed could comfortably give this app a 3-4 star, but far from a 5.

Ridiculously terrible

Grammaw2three

This app is Terrible with a capital T. I've been trying for three days to make a simple reservation from Johnstown Pa to New York City. Don't waste your time.

Wow. Can't even login 8-16-16

MikeTran132

Functionality seriously lacking on purchasing with points. Can't even login

Bug in the system won't let you register

BILLYGX

Bugs in the system not qualified to be an app

Buggy. Missing key features

xxipoD<3muSiCxx

As I write this, I'm unable to login to my account on the app, despite resetting my password and double checking through my desktop browser. A key feature that would be helpful is text alerts on arrivals for nonticket holders who might be picking someone up at the station.

Needs work

Tunahoward

When trying to determine what time a train is arriving it is worthless.

Failure

Hungry Town

When it comes to apps, i have never experienced such an absolute failure. Bravo. Amtrak set a new lower low standard for worthless.
