The old app was great. Easy to navigate. Your trips easily accessible from the Amtrak home screen. Now the app is disjointed, the fonts in the app don't fit correctly and the design overall is pretty unappealing. Ugh... Very disappointed.

Please bring back versions 2.x! Unless I'm traveling 'today' or 'tomorrow' I can't book a ticket. And the new UI requires so much scrolling, it's hard for me to keep track of what options I'm considering. Please bring back versions 2.x!

The old version of the app worked flawlessly. The more recent updates have rendered it all but unusable. With the new redesign, you now cannot click on anything. You can try, but it never registers the clicks and sometimes will freak out on you, as if you've clicked something ten times in a row. It will also (on the rare occasions it actually registers a click) select the wrong data on screen. The UI is also unreadable and unnecessarily makes you wade though endless, confusing, poorly-laid out menus to select anything, and leaves you uncertain if you've even selected the correct option.

Can’t find my tickets, will not even search for them. No wounder people hate Amtrak. After 10 years in Europe, even those less advance places like Hungry does a better job
Beyond frustrated in NJ
I have been trying for hours to book a January trip on both my Ipad and Iphone. The date field does not work so I can only book a one way trip for today- ridiculous. I have tried to review this app 3 times and each time my various versions of "frustrated" have been taken so it cancels my review. This app worked successfully in the past. I am not sure what upgrades were done to it but If I could score it ZERO stars I would. I will be driving in the future!.

App functions as intended but is cluttered with too much information rather than functionality. The Apple Wallet ticket doesn’t have any status’ or any other information forcing users to use the app. Would be significantly more useful if track numbers were posted.

Notifications seem to assume that departure times are in the Eastern time zone, so on the west coast, the notification indicates a departure 3 hours earlier than actual.

Interesting new look. Good improvement there. App no longer shows existing reservations on your account when you are logged in. You will have to manually enter the reservation information. Update: Still no unified reservations. Manual entry only. Have to copy and paste reservation code into iMessage. Send to self, copy and paste into app from iPhone. Convenient.

When i downloaded the app a few days go in preparation for my trip, it was great. I saw my reservation in the app for several days. On my travel day, the reservation was gone!!' Luckily I printed out a copy
