Still Forever Glitched

ROCKET_SUCKS!!!!!

I have downloaded this app on multiple devices since it came out - iPhone, iPad, Android, etc. If I scroll too fast through the channel lineup it freezes up and has to be closed and reopened… EVERY. F’ING. TIME. Dish and Direct don’t have these issues with their apps. ?

Can’t even log in! I enter my username and password, the app says it texted a code, I enter the code, the app shows “we just texted a code to *** ***-null” Same result after numerous attempts, exiting app, uninstalling/reinstalling app, and a hard reset on my phone. This might be the final sign I needed to finally cut the cord and upgrade my Hulu sub to live tv. Although it would be nice to access DVR content on my phone, based on the horrible install experience when I recently started Xfinity service, I’m guessing it’s not worth what will probably be a way too long and incredibly frustrating conversation with “customer service” to get this resolved. Given the monthly cost for service, you’d think they could afford to hire competent devs. Save yourself the frustration - give your hard earned $$ and time to someone else who will actually provide service and easily accessible content. Xfinity isn’t worth it.

With new update you will not be able to stream recordings they freeze and audio will continue. Spent time with tech support and told me it’s an app issue and until developers fix won’t go away. Be prepared to only be able to watching recording from your box. No apple products will allow for replay.

Don’t Stop Watching

I use this app more than any other app I have. We record many shows on our Xfinity DVR and I watch them on my IPad. It works great unless you can’t watch an entire show. If I stop and close the app, I can’t continue to watch my recorded show. I can switch to my IPhone or the TV and watch it, but forget about watching on the IPad. Just keeps close the recording. Really would be nice if I could contact Comcast to report this, but alas that is not possible either since the virtual assistant can’t figure out what my issues are to help troubleshoot or get me to a live agent. (:

Stops playing shows

Almost any show I play off my dvr longer than 30 minutes will stop playing. Either the picture freezes but the sound continues (most common) or sometimes the sound doesn’t work and the picture continues. It’s been doing this for months and I even got a new phone and still have this problem.

Last two update broke the background playing option. The app has to be running at all times to just listen without viewing. How could every update break something new?

For some reason it’s still not allowing me to see my devices. It comes up for a few days then stop again. Can you please let me know how to fix this ??

Recorded shows do not play

I don’t know if my phone is too awesome for this app. But whenever I want to watch my recorded shows on my phone, the visual stops, but yet I can hear the audio. It is really frustrating. You would think comcast could do a better job. Maybe I should try peacock….

Compared to their competitors - they are severely lacking. You can only access certain channels in your home wifi network - which is especially a pain as I like to use this app when I am …outside of my house. You can’t fast forward on demand ads (compared to Directv Stream which has no ads) and you can’t use AirPlay on this app. If this app wasn’t included in my cable service - I don’t think it would be so successful.

Recently the sound had been cutting out every 30 seconds on recorded shows and the casting no longer works to one of my TVs. Hoping for an upgrade soon that will fix these new bugs.
