Tired of the freezing of my shows

It seems it’s just getting worse. For at least 6 months,I hard can watch an show that I’ve recorded. It will freeze the picture, while sound continues. I haven’t been able to watch 1 recording in months. So tiresome!

How is it I can’t even connect from within my own home?!?! Home where my main Xfinity service resides?!?! This app and its connection issues is getting old!!!! And your “developer” page is just marketing…way to hide from your crap app problems. Ever heard of QA before rolling out a product/enhancements????? FIX YOUR ONGOING MESS!!!!!
Menus at bottom are bad; recording is harder

Menus at the bottom interfere with space. Was better on the side. Recording doesn’t work consistently because recording a 30 min show will start the recording 1 min early and finish 1 min late creating overlap with other scheduled recordings even if they are both on the same channel. So where you used to be able to record 2 show’s at the same time sometimes forces it to only record one. Very annoying. Previous versions of the app were better!

Considering the cost of service, I’m so annoyed that the app regularly has DVR playback issues. Shows are now freezing midway through yet the sound is there. It seems like every time they do an update, there is no quality testing to make sure the app works!
Recorded shows keep freezing

I’ve used the app for years and recently recorded shows keep freezing during a commercial or if I forward during a commercial. Can you please address this? Others on this feed have reported the same issue. Very frustrating.

I’ve had nothing but issues with this app. I stream to my tvs a lot and 80% of the time it can’t even find any of my chrome casts when every other app can. It also dies while streaming SOOO MUCH! It’ll freeze, shut off, cut out, etc. I’ll reset and the issues happen again and again. I usually can’t make it through any shows without issues. If I watch on my phone it’s fine. But anything other than that and there are constant problems. I’ve asked for help through xfinity and they just say it’s the chrome cast having issues or my tv having issues. It’s clearly the app. SO FRUSTRATING! Xfinity, fix your app! Take a lesson from literally any other streaming app.
Only decent when cast to tv

Unless you plan on only live casting to tv (since most tvs do not support this app), don’t waste your money. Literally every time I try to watch a recording on my phone, it freezes the picture and only sound works. This is a known issue on their support pages, yet xfinity blames her error. So many people have this issue and they will not recognize it. If I weren’t locked in to a contract, I’d cancel and go back to sling.
Little buggy when it comes to casting

This most recent update will not let me cast on to chrome cast any longer… hope they get that fixed here soon.
