Life changer

marshamine

I have been a loyal VIA rider for 4+ years with very few complaints. It’s AFFORDABILITY has allowed me (and my cane) to go places easily, cheaply and promptly whether my DDS in Bklyn or Trader Joe’s! Just allow a few extra minutes and you’ll have a good experience.

Good but real quality issues

-;:-)/$:&:@@

I’ve got to walk a few blocks to get to a pick up zone. I’ll drop the pin, but the app will move it around the intersection. The problem is that in LA, there are big no stopping zones and other considerations- stuff I know that the app doesn’t. I’ve had drivers call me to sort it out, and they sometimes don’t speak English. At all. Don’t fire the drivers, but the app should at least try to match language skill. Drivers also tend to be blasting music since there is no rating system that I can remember. Great concept to partner with Metro here- can be made even better.

I live for VIA!!!

I take at least via 2x a day every day. It has saved my life. The costumer service is also excellent. I highly recommend using via!!

Great app. Cheaper and better than Uber

Via was completely new to me and a pleasant surprise.

I’d rather take the bus

The wait time for pick up is never accurate. As soon as you select a time for pick up, the app gives you an even later arriving driver stating “the driver is no longer available but we have another on the way!” Yeah, but by the time they get here I’ll be even later than I was originally going to be, and if you cancel, you get charged, but was I aware that it was gonna take that long in the first place, I would have never requested e ride. I also have a M-F commuter pass, and as soon as I got that, my normal $9 commute to work, increased to $11, & then $15, and today it was charging me $19 for less than a 20 min shared drive. And $32 for a private ride. Lyft only charged me $11 for the shared ride so I took that instead. How did I pay $100 for the commuter pass to save money, but since I’ve gotten it, the prices for rides have almost doubled. It makes no sense. There have not been surges that I’m aware of. Super frustrating app if you’re not in the center of DC.

Via: great drivers & great prices.

The title is the body of my review via is a very good service most of the drivers are extremely good and polite some of them are very much fun to speak to and the prices can’t be beat they’re the best prices in all of New York City thank you so much for Via. I’m beginning to dislike Via the prices have gone sky high. I switched back to Lyft. You need more deals we can buy, and or just offer us deals.

Affordable at the cost of customer service

It’s cheap rides but the features for user and customers are much better on other ride hauling apps. If I forget something in my Uber I have the easy option to get it returned for a fee. But with this service it’s up the will of the driver if I ever get it back. I left my wallet in a via and it was the worst experience trying to get it back. Won’t be using via again after this.

Started off cheap but now more expensive than Lyft...

This app used to be my preferred ride share app, but at some point in the past few months the prices skyrocketed and are now more expensive than the competition.
