App needs work

drewlars

This app and the driver app need significant improvements if it wants to compete with Uber/Lyft.l

Disappointment

bellabell123443

This app is crazy, the pickup time is never under 5 minutes all the wait times I’ve had were 11,13,15,20 minutes and I don’t mind the walking to my ride part but when there is no one else joining my shared ride why are you still dropping me off a block away from my home. I tried contacting customer service and the response I got back was so unprofessional my jaw dropped. They told me if I don’t like the app then ride with someone else in those exact words it’s crazy y’all have to do better

Great

ViaRegularChi

It’s raining and my driver went an extra 2 blocks to drop me off directly at my apartment. Amazing!

Via policy is not transparent

Suzieq401

Via has some good things going, however they have a problem with transparency. They used to pick me up around a half a block from my house, then they started making me walk 3 1/2 blocks to a freeway access road. I asked them what the limit is on the distance that they would make a rider walk, but they have refused to answer, even though I have asked them numerous times.

First Ride

This morning was my first time riding with Fe Dia by the certainly will not be my last time and it is in very pleasant experience all the way around.

Hard to rely on

AEAdco

Via has some work to do, in my opinion. I use a rideshare to get to work, and have been frustrated by the WIDE variance in pick up times. When I search for a ride, it will often estimate something like 4min, and when I actually book the ride, it ends up being up to 17min! This means I have to be ready to head out to the curb (in case it’s ACTUALLY 4min), but commonly end up waiting for 10-15min. Frequently, in the morning commute, the app will not be able to find a driver. So, I can’t rely on Via alone - I have to have Lyft, Juno or Uber as a back up for when Via doesn’t have a ride. The reasons I have stuck with the app: 1. The low cost of rides and 2. The driving routes when an additional rider is added seem to be less disruptive than the experiences I’ve had in Shared Lyft.

Driver

RondoGang

Via is a good company to have in West Sacramento except for the fact that they don’t care what passengers have to say. Like there is a lady named Christina she is always hella rude she dropped my pregnant girlfriend a mile away from her destination, and made her walk in 100 degrees, she made a 17 years old girl un buckle her seatbelt and her baby’s seat belt and move to the back. And I think she may be racist because both of those women were black women
