I must say I prefer using Lyft but Uber has better prices, I deal with too many nuances a day from the payment, to the driver's it's a huge inconvience. I've experienced fights between driver and passenger, drivers not communicating, awful GPS. My main issue is in the App you separate gift card and Uber credits as a form of payment but then it shows how much you have accumulated together. It was showing I had $21.45 I kept calling an Uber and my payment was declined and for the life of me I didn’t know why, now I’m running late to work, there was nowhere in the app for me to instantly get into touch with someone for help that’s also a big Problem. Once I went to payments it showed I only had $11 in gift card the rest in uber credits, if it shows I have $21 I should have been able to call an Uber for $15 instead I had to get an express for $8 because it kept declining my payment. Just merge the gift card and credits into one, it’s like having two separate lines to get to the same cash register, complete nonsense.

The app would not let me add my correct location so I called him to let my driver know where I was. He had not showed up for a minute and so I called again and he kept saying he is on his way but then hung up and never showed up. I spend about $1000+ on Uber a month and this has been the second ride I’ve had issues with this year. I’m a loyal costumer and I would like a refund or for him to be fired because this is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. He drove around honking continuously making a scene and then when I walked to him he proceeded to raise his voice with me saying that I need to be where I say I am in gps when I said earlier I called him and told him where I was. I will not use Uber ever again if this happens again. He made me late to my destination by 30 minutes which irritated me a lot. He also said that he has to charge me a fee since I took so long but I CALLED HIM 4 times to find out where he was cause I don’t have money to waste or give away with an extra fee since my parents both just passed away. If I could give him 0 stars I would but i can’t. Very dissatisfied with this ride.

I write this hoping that Uber will fix this problem. I don't know what else to do, I've tried to email and I've only received automated replies. I was incorrectly charged $80 dollars for a cleaning fee for a mess I did not make. The whole circumstance was suspicious. The driver submitted the report 6 hours after the trip. Also the images they submitted were vague and unspecified, a Gatorade bottle and a cheese puff. I don't even drink Gatorade! It was absolutely not my mess at all. A system that makes it possible for scammers to steal money is broken and illegal. I will not use Uber until they give me my money back. The worst news is, I have numerous friends who have experienced the same thing, and they haven't gotten their money back either!! It's crazy! I'm switching to Lyft, as I haven't heard of this scam from them.
Cancellation fees are a scam

Hey Uber, you scammed me out of $5 for a cancellation fee. Your driver waited all of 30 seconds before he cancelled on me and then had the gall to charge me $5. The real scam is that you won’t refund me the $5 but only a credit??? Unbelievable. I will never use you guys again. Keep the $5.
1st Uber Ride

This was the 1st time that we ever used Uber. Everything was very good and we had a great Driver ( Aurter). He did a great job. I have one problem: I never got credit for my 1st time coupon. I put my coupon code in two different times. I was given this coupon at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, CA.

The title says it all. The list of problems is endless; unreliable and the absolute WORST navigation and tracking system I have ever seem. Uber always promises to fix these problems but let's be honest, they're too busy scamming the drivers and overcharging customers. Everytime I use the app, something goes wrong.
