Great app to rent a car!!!

Used this app to rent a car for my trip, great option!!! No more big companies with hidden charges or “sorry we don’t have that car you reserved, take this one” Take my 5 stars!!!

Went on a trip to Chicago and hertz/enterprise wouldn’t rent me out a car because out my out state license but Turo made it so easy!!!!!! Got the car the night before, got to the designation of told me and picked up the car and left and I was it.

Hidden fees go with a traditional rental

Since when did the customer have to return the car clean? Where was that ever in the rental agreement? And fee for tolls when it was never used? Absolute crap.

I always have a good ride with Turo i do think they need to take away the booking fee for everyday of your ride but other than that I have enjoyed every host I’ve rented from

THEY WILL F YOU OVER FOR BASIC SCRATCHES IF YOU TAKE OUT INSURANCE. A BASIC WEAR & TEAR SCRATCH COSTED ME $800.... NEVER AGAIN TURO. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
Ruined my car

I used them a few times and then was out of town for the last rental. Upon returning my car smelled awful inside and tried everything it get the smell out. The app wouldn’t let me properly check out the driver or upload pictures or anything. I was 6 hours past the deadline to send an invoice for a cleaning fee. I got on their online chat (which was hard to find) and Daulette , my customer service rep, said there was nothing they could do. So I’m left with a very inconvenient and expensive mess of my hands. Do not use them.
Turo is a hive of scammers

Ive used the service 2 times. The first time i used it was great i Rented a tesla the owner was super helpful. The second time I got a scammer who made a bogus claim the day after I returned the vehicle. Upon returning it he encouraged me not to take pictures and then submitted damages to Turo for over $2500 dollars. Be real careful know you are renting from regular joes and Turo condones is his type of behavior. I deleted the app and will never be using it again. Will be filing complaints with my department of consumer affairs.
