Awful app. No music app, except iHeart. Pandora no longer supported and Slacker Radio doesn't exist anymore (?). How does Toyota not support Apple Carplay or at least have support for Spotify or Pandora. States are changing laws to hands free.... Carplay should be a minimum.

negative functionality app

I spend a lot of time on my 2016 tacoma an a functional “entertainment” system is paramount. I have owned and still own toyotas. the lack of functionality and toyota’s seeming disregard of owners is likely to end my relationship with toyota. I can live with the clunkiness of the enclosed apps, but requiring a login every time the vehicle is started??? stupidity enshrined. Toyota - give us CarTunes or something that someone else makes and cares about.

Very Very Close to Useless

This app, which I’ve used for over a year, is plain evidence that Toyota actually hates its customers, and thinks them idiots. The pandora portion kind of works. The thumbs up and down are present and it knows your stations. But that’s it no other functionality. An I’m a pandora fan. I heart radio is just constant frustration. There is no convenient way to flip between favorite stations. You have to exit to the top level, hit favorites, then select desired station. The kicker is that it won’t play (90% of the time). You have to hit the stop button then the play button. This idiotic bug has persisted through multiple app updates and car firmware updates (2017 Avalon hybrid limited). There is no Spotify. The stock quotes are obscenely out of sync even from other delayed sources like yahoo. Keeps deleting my credentials so I have to log on again. Bottom line : junk.

Crap

After having carplay for a year, this is a joke. Navigation can’t find state parks or common addresses. You need to speak an entire first name, last name and mobile or home. Update: to make a call or use the navigation, I turn off Bluetooth, uses Siri and continue on my way. Piece of crap. I will not be buying a Toyota Highlander for the wife due to how bad this system is. System update June 2018. Results worse than ever. Completely useless with an iPhone7 plus or new iPhone.

Not up to Toyota standards

While I understand that the basic function of automobiles is transportation, if you’re going to include other functions in it, those functions should work. I updated my phone to the iPhone X and since then I have not been able to use any of the functions of Entune. To set up function shows that my iPhone X is paired but when I try to use one of the app functions it shows that the telephone is not paired with Entune. This infotainment system is one of the most frustrating automobile functions I’ve encountered and it’s definitely not up to Toyota standards. It makes me want to go back and check out American automobiles which I haven’t done since the 1980s.

App can’t find vin

Bored app. Don’t buy Toyota

Useless

Just like the title....useless. Wish it had Spotify too.

Stupid and incompetent

OneKindFavor

Those are the words to describe the programmers who wrote this stupid app that makes you stop and type in your email and password nearly every time you get in your car and use it. I hate it. I don’t even use it most of the time. Save the info, put it in keychain, facial recognition, something. Don’t even get me started about the limited usefulness of it, I’m so annoyed about having to type all this crap in so often I rarely use it. How can Toyota make such an advanced tech car like the 2017 Prius and pair it with this crap?

No updates?

I don’t understand how Toyota can make an app and just never update it? Looks like it’s on an iPhone 3g and it works that way also. Not everyone is going out and buying the newest model car or truck so why should only the new models get updated UI and app? And from the reviews of “Entune 3.0” it’s not much better. Don’t make an app if you don’t plan on supporting it. If support means it’s gonna cost then I rather pay for an app that’s gonna be updated and easy to use.
