My tundra show have CarPlay 3 years ago. This app is trash and everyone hates yet they still have with no update and then they dangle a carrot over our heads promoting CarPlay on 2020 tundra just to find out you need a different stereo with no update on older tundras. Good job Toyota.

I have a 2019 Highlander and this app is useless. All I have is iHeartRadio and some other music app that I will never use. That's it!

This software is a Toyota’s attempt to be Apple. This failed. Entune would allow you to access a few services using the built in controls on the panel which adds no value whatsoever to what you would get as performance. For the Entune to work you would need to turn Apple play off. If you plan to use navigation you would need to install both Entune and as out on your I phone and then have them running while your phone is USB connected to the car’s port. No other program would be allowed to be active while using this type of navigation. Forget your Pandora. Forget Siri. You cannot zoom in and out the map and readjust car position on the map. While installing Entune app on your cell phone be aware that there are two separate programs with icons and functionality being quite different. Toyota would not tell you which one is suitable for your car so you would need to use try and error method. After spending a day to figure all this out the natural conclusion is that you would be way better off if you use Apple play + your traditional apps already installed on your cell phone. Maps and Google maps will work just fine while you listen to your favorite music on the background. You would need to put up with the hard wired connection between the phone and the car and the necessity to disconnect and reconnect every time you go to go out to take a picture or go shopping and you need your cellphone with you but you would have the full functionality of your phone intact as in this way the car offers just a bit larger screen and a better sound. Everything else is a function of your cellphone and the service provider. Toyota makes great cars but user friendly electronics, service, and interface is way behind the market. It is obvious that everyone should focus and stay with what he does best.

I love my 2019 Tacoma but this entune app is utter garbage! For the cost of these upgraded radio systems you would think they would invest some time and money into making a great user friendly app. None of the features provided are useful and you get forced to have iheart radio and slacker radio tabs on your display with no way to remove them, the entire navigation is garbage I would rather use the apps I have thru my phone and Bluetooth! I tried to like this app but after a day I deleted it!!! I would give negative stars if I could!!!

Frustrating app

I have a 2017 RAV 4. I love listening to Pandora on my phone and decided to play it through this app. I must have re-logged in with my password 50 somewhat times before giving up. Toyota please, please fix this issue.

No Apple Play

No Apple Play. No. Apple. Play. My 2017 Highlander missed the Entune 3.0 train. It is infuriating that I don’t have the ability to upgrade my cars software.

Worthless

Dumb stupid useless and boring

Absolutely terrible app. Expect more from anything with Toyota name on it. Was able to access iheart radio through the app for about a week, now it won’t launch at all. Spent too much on this vehicle to have this issue. If I was Toyota I would find a new developer or get my name off this app.

I love my Tundra, second one I’ve bought, third Toyota. All great. The Entune system is an utter failure. Wait till the model you want has Apple/Android Car Play 2020 for the Tundras.

2019 4Runner

Just bought my 2019 4Runner SR5 Premium with navigation radio & already having problems with Entune App suite. The app constantly shows no HD signal and I live in a metropolitan city of San Antonio? Makes no sense, it’s so annoying seeing my screen constantly saying “downloading” on the weather panel.
