Got me started lifting right

The 5x5 app is easy to use, and the program was perfect to get me started. I ran the program for 12 weeks and have now shifted to a more advanced program. I can’t tell how grateful I am to 5x5 for getting me started, and at age 36 no less. My wife did the program with me at lower weight, and she liked it as well.

I’ve cycled in this program a few times to regain my strength. Trust the process and only increase the weight in the increments it says. I add assistance at the end but only about two whether that’s abs, calves, shrugs, Bands etc..
